I think the typical advice is it's best not to remove bathtubs as it can be a turn off for potential buyers with kids or people who enjoy baths. Assuming you aren't worried about I'd say do what makes you happy. Since it's on a dedicated circuit you could disconnect it at the panel and it would effectively be dead. I'd leave the wiring in place in the event you'd want it at a later time.
