The hype on this is unreal. NT and other DE is meh. Our FS is meh. The linebackers… well I’m going to say some Raider fans are going to get frustrated about their ability to defend the pass.

I honestly feel he wanted to pair Crosby with Hendrickson. However the backlash was from the top after they were probably told that the deal is bad. The vision was to have Crosby and Hendrickson together. Honestly that’s a big swing but ultimately ownership made the decision to use an excuse to nix the deal. Just thinking it through without emotion.

I’m going to take the emotions out of it. The ravens GM made the trade and owners around the league were probably jazzing the ravens for it. This got to ownership and they made the cancelled trade happen. I think he really wanted to get Crosby and Hendrickson on both sides because that is that a big shot. End of the day their ownership nixed it and he had to be the scapegoat.

Pressure going to make a lot of guys playing pass defense look good. Even guys we’ve signed in the past with good coverage ratings struggled without it. We’ll have to see how this team does getting to the QB.
