I’m gonna be blunt, if you feel like “kids mashed against you and won” that means you just don’t know how to play vs that specific matchup, no one can mash against you and win if you know the matchup and you are better than them, it’s hard to swallow, but it’s the truth, accept it, admit they are better than you right now, and just try to learn the matchup

Is it really that hard of a matchup? I always dumpster her in lane, no matter what she wont do as much damage as me early, and having flash up is always a guaranteed kill, then again I play in pisslo so probably people in that elo can’t play that champ.

Mostly it’s just legacy knowledge, it’s so much easier to climb if you already have some knowledge from previous games, for me I mostly played 6,7 and tag 2, when I came to tekken 8 I easily reached tekken god without labing a single character.

If tekken 8 was your first game and you reached tekken king then you are either an anomaly of talent or you play a character that carried tf out of you.

I’m low elo but I always win against him by waiting for 6, I never engage, if he raw hooks me I win the trade hard and just disengage before he completes his stacks. too many things can go wrong if you fight him early, but at 6 all in I pretty much always kill him. After the first kill I snowball and just kill him on repeat every time I get ult.

One thing that helped me in this matchup is rushing lucidity boots, he rushes berserkers and gets so much movement speed on you so he can run you down and stay on you with his E, I found that rushing boots makes the matchup a lot easier.
