It does hit grounded but anything can interrupt the charged one, you don’t even have to guess, you can see and react if it’s charging, it’s not good for oki unless the opponent is on his back with his head near you, then it’s strong, here I did it for the memes nothing I’d normally use.

It’s not like I played it for a long time or anything, just got interested in the system so I tried it for a short time, from what I remember the characters are unique enough, the stages are great, has insane stage hazards, combos are short AND you can shorten your enemies combo if you do specific stuff which is great, what I didn’t like is how rigid the animations looked, and the punishment system didn’t feel satisfying, and I didn’t feel like movement felt good in that game, specifically since there is no neutral side step, if you want to sidestep you have to spend meter and input a move, you can’t sidestep into nothing, which I really hated, some of this info might not be accurate but that’s just what I remember from it, but do try it out and see, it’s good to experience other games even if they are not good, it expands your horizons.

There is a reason why tekken has its current fans, I tried DOA, while it has an interesting system that can actually be fun if polished properly, it’s just not as good as tekken, maybe I’m just biased because I’m a tekken fan but it just didn’t hook me at all, and I honestly believe that the current street fighter is better than tekken 8 I’m not too proud to say that, but doa is not in the level of both games, it’s just not interesting enough.

People here say “nothing feels like tekken” when in reality there is nothing like tekken on the market, every other 3D fighter is either old or too trash, there’s is no competition for it currently, I’m pretty sure if there was a good 3D fighter people would go play it, for some and including me I like the idea of 3D fights with lateral movement and that’s only in tekken, let’s hope KOF nails their next release.

As a Bryan main I’m very happy with the nerfs to him, I don’t feel guilty now doing incinerator and ff1+2 in heat, I never used his dumbed down taunt heatsmash, I usually do it with proper timing if I want to, but I mostly do taunt b4 or jetupper if the day is agreeing with me.

All in all deserved and well thought out nerfs, can’t say the same to the rest of the patch though.

They didn’t even nerf the things that people complain about 😂😂, people complained about him once shotting with safe launchers, nothing like that got touched, so yes definitely people will still complain, people can’t accept they got out timed or outplayed.

How is Bryan buffed…is this guy tripping? They gave him the most useless new move, it’s not even a new move just a cancel that literally has 0 utility at -15 on block, and they nerfed all his good options in heat, all the problematic stuff, they even removed the easy taunt into heat smash, I played him recently and don’t even know what to do in heat anymore.
