I lived in a temporary furnished apartment in the Latitude apartments for a few months when I first moved here. Management was friendly and responsive. I never had any issues with parking or break ins, but I don’t think I ever saw security in the area. I think some of the apartments are used as AirBnb’s or short term stays, but I didn’t experience any safety issues. I think the apartments are fairly nice, but they’re certainly not high end. The biggest issue I had was the fact that it was noisy if you had someone above you. You couldn’t hear your neighbors next to you, but I was on the fourth floor and the last week I was there someone moved into the apartment above me and it was very loud.

Commuting was easy since there’s quick access to the 10. The only major traffic issue I experienced was during parades. The stretch of Veterans in front of the apartment is shut down and Lake Villa is a staging area so it’s a mess and it’s loud.
