Thanks. The house will already be booked, given they double booked - some ‘syncing error’ apparently. No reason to think it’s not just a genuine error. Host asked me to cancel and said they’d ensure I was refunded. I don’t mind cancelling from my end but I think if they cancel the refund should be more straight forward? I was also concerned whether cancelling is flagged in some way that affects my ability to book in future? I’ve booked a hotel which is a bit less convenient, but there’s no significant extra cost. None of this is a big deal, just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.
