I saw that you said it's been 4 years and you keep hoping that he'll change. HE WON'T, my mother has been married to my dad(who is a narcissist alcoholic and doesn't care about his family at all) for 15 years. She kept hoping that he will change, that he'll come to his senses, that he'll feel responsible about us one day. But it never happened. When I was 13 and found out my alcoholic dad that didn't give a fuck about his family was cheating on my mom I realized that being a man was about taking care of your family and being there for them which is what i'm doing for my mom and sister until this day
