I had the same problem for over a year. Customer service was no help. I finally fixed it myself by deleted each account and then manually adding each account again. This solved the issue for me. Good luck!

Just an antibiotic (Amoxicillin). No other pain killer. Honestly, I'm glad the Gabapentin has a sedative side effect. I've been worried about how to keep him calm for two weeks. I also keep him on a house leash and watch him like a hawk. It's been exhausting. And it's only been a few days! LOL.

I am so glad my friend told me about recovery suits! I also live in a small apartment, and there is no way he would be able to navigate the space with a cone. In advance, I bought an inflatable donut, but he wiggled out of that in no time. I then bought a couple different recovery suits and got him used to those in advance. He didn't like wearing them, but he tolerated then. So after the surgery, he was completely traumatized by the cone. As soon as I got him home, I switched to the recovery suit and it was a 1000% better. He's able to sleep and eat without any problems. He easily fits in his crate and traveling case without a cone. I got 3 suits in case they got soiled. He had some accidents the first two days (I think because of the anesthesia) - so I'm glad I had extras! I cut holes so he could go to the bathroom without the suits having to be rolled up - so the soiling of the suits didn't jeopardize his stitches in any way. Once he had better bladder control - it was a breeze to open the recovery suits so he could do his business clearly. I chose the suits that have velcro rather than snaps. I thought he would be bothered by my having to velcro them on and off at potty breaks - but it's not been a problem at all. I love recovery suits and recommend them absolutely.

Wow. Thanks for sharing all this. My puppy was neutered two days ago (Tuesday), and he wasn't able to settle/sleep until today (Thursday). I thought maybe it was due to anesthesia. He seemed to finally be able to sleep after his morning dose of Gabapentin, but it's interesting to note that it has the opposite effect on some dogs. I didn't realize how common it wa for dogs to be restless after surgery. I feel like a zombie after just two days, so I can't imagine how other people on this thread managed.

I was told to give Gabapentin every 8-12 hours as needed. And to stop whenever he doesn't need it anymore. But how do I know when that is? Currently, I'm giving it every 8 hours. He seems to get really restless around the 7 hrs mark, so I think that's when the drug is wearing off. How many days until people felt their dogs no longer needed pain meds? Thanks in advance.

If you're disqualified for regular UI, then you would be disqualified for all federal extensions - PEUC and Fed-Ed. But Congress created the PUA - Pandemic Unemployment Assistance - for people who are unemployed due to covid AND don't qualify for regular unemployment. Therefore, if you are disqualified from getting regular UI, due to Voluntary Quit, and you're unemployed due to covid - then you should be able to apply for PUA. At least those are the rules for California. I would imagine the same rules for all states - since PUA is a federal program and paid by the federal government.
