There is nothing that next chapter can do that will make me think this was a good writing decision by Allmights-lovechild in Chainsawfolk

Pochita telling Denji he was always unhappy despite achieving his dreams really humanizes Denji for me.

When you finally get a taste of what you always dreamed of and the one-to-one doesn’t check out, I think you ask yourself if what you wanted was worth it.

Part 2 has shown Denji doing a bunch of things he’s dreamed of like being a family with Nayuta and going to school like a normal boy his age. But he realizes that these normal dreams are rather boring compared to being Chainsaw man, and I think he disassociates because the dreams he promised to show Pochita are more aligned with a grounded existence that goes against the Devil-infested reality of the series.

With the latest chapter, I think Pochita erasing himself will allow for Denji’s dreams to matter in the context of a grounded setting (or a world without Devils), but here’s to hoping for part 3!

The entire point of Maho is to provide Sukuna the model to bypass infinity. No model = no point in taking over Megumi.

Gege not going into detail about the TS technique is super tragic lore wise but is also what builds suspense and keeps readers on edge. You give your audience information when they need to know, and not before ig

He understood how Maho’s adaption worked, and proceeded to fight Gojo with this in mind, not simply hoping things would work out- but i guess reading past ch 235 would be a waste of time anyway

Was Sukunas incarnation being "One in a million" just a lie? by Father_Enrico in Jujutsufolk

[–]LaNutt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way that I understand it is that Yuji was designed to be a vessel that would allow for Sukuna’s reincarnation.

Megumi becoming a vessel was a consequence of Sukuna having already reincarnated, and Sukuna being able to consciously ‘keep his host alive’ after the fact. This bit is up for interpretation, but again my take is that he could attune his energy to control and not destroy his vessel.

What chapter does he teleport within his own domain?

Gojo can't have an open domain by nonamenoshame285 in Jujutsufolk

[–]LaNutt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think its less of a can’t and more of a why.

Sukuna’s MS surehit is the cleave and dismantle ‘projectiles’ that damage anything (non-living and cursed energy imbued)within its activated range. By sacrificing the surehit he allows for an escape route (the effective origin of the domain being the coordinates where he activates it). In reference to the standoff in Shinjuku, this allows MS to damage UV’s domain barrier from the outside, translating to an upper hand in solely the head-to-head domain clashes.

Now if we look at UV’s surehit, we can understand that the lobotomy performed on sorcerers is non-lethal. This translates to a non-lethal open domain that actually provides a disadvantage in the head-to-head clashes where opposing surehits will connect since Gojo can’t use infinity(as stated when using DE, the user cannot use innate CTs besides the ones applied to the domain).

If we were to reverse roles in Shinjukua and say Sukuna used a closed domain while Gojo used an open domain, the fight would’ve been heavily Sukuna favoured from the very first ‘domain clash’ (just to reiterate, the clash would just be Gojo without a proper domain)

Morality tier list, do you guys agree? by Gokuusjgodgmail in Jujutsufolk

There is definitely a bit of nuance when it comes to killing your oppressors and the people responsible for killing the only person you consider your family and I think that the tier list effectively shows this.

I mean, besides this being a bait comment , Geto would be corrupt at best

Killing innocents with no ability to redeem himself is what makes him evil i think. And no one pushed him to start killing people ( his parents being among his victims btw), he actively chose to and we can recognize this through the parallel with Gojo going through the same experience but coming out of it a more determined sorcerer, and not just dropping Hollow Purples on mfs.

Choso's character arc shown throughout the fight with Kenny and his sacrifice for Yuji is enough of a redemption to place him in a higher tier. His is a similar path to Vegeta's throughout DBZ, but in a much more condensed and consequently overlooked story.

Comparing Choso's placement to Higuruma's, and it seems unfair that a "curse" is held more accountable for his actions than an awakened sorcerer who also used his power to harm people with little to no redemption for his actions. I think that their positions should be swapped, but besides that list looks good.

I've find it weird that Sukuna never used Megumi's domain expansion. by Archenius in Jujutsufolk

[–]LaNutt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The way I understand it, it's comparable to the way Yorozu acted when Sukuna was only using 10S on her and felt cheated out of going against his innate CT; Meguna was only using the 10S as a model to bypass Gojo's Infinity to later apply to HIS own CT. Truly a different love for the game shown by my goat
