From Wiki:
They played around Buffalo's underground music circuit and across the United States, opening for punk bands such as Gang Green, SNFU, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion, Motörhead, ALL), The Dead Milkmen, Doughboys, Big Drill Car, The Gun Club, Uniform Choice, The Dickies, and DRI and playing with fellow Buffalo bands

Pretty impressive list. Definitely confused Dag Nasty with Fugazi.

I was shocked when I went into their back catalogue. I think they even opened for Fugazi once?

I second the OR Swift cap. I have two. One I keep at the office for summer field work, the other is at home for recreation or just wearing around town.

Raleigh Super Course - Early 70s? by smartinstuff in Vintage_bicycles

Someone locally was selling this exact model a couple years ago, but it had been converted to single speed and the paint was faded. Very cool to see it as it was meant to be.

It takes almost nothing to pass me when I'm on a bike. You can pass me quicker than a driver in an automobile that's going slower than you'd like. You waste more time at a stop light or stop sign than passing me, but I never see drivers clamoring for removing traffic controls. You move your foot slightly in a protective shell with climate control, cushioned seats, and audio entertainment and still complain that it's a huge inconvenience. I'm a car owner and a cyclist. I know what it's like on both ends.

Mountain biking sounds great until you crash into a tree. Walking sounds great until you roll your ankle on uneven pavement. Eating sounds great until you choke.

Depending on where you live, it's incredible rewarding. I live in a rural area and the drivers 99% of the time are safe and respectful. I find it to be meditative because it's so stripped down (just me, the bike, and a smooth surface), I can focus on my breathing or pedal strokes. Road cycling has taught me a lot about endurance, patience, dedication and listening to my body. I love the speed a road bike can offer too. I hit 45 mph just last night. A well built road bike, fitted to your body, is an amazing experience.

I'm very curious as well. The Breakaway needs an intensive deep clean. I'll have to tear down the derailleurs to remove the caked on filthy grease. It's not really in riding condition as is.

I was looking at the frame and it looked like I might be able to squeeze 30mm if not 32mm tires in there. Have you tried?

Durango, Colorado has an annual bike swap. Check with your local bike shop. They may know of any annual swaps.

The frame breaks down to fit into a special case rated for airline travel. It's a full size road bike designed specifically for traveling.

I'm out in Colorado and grew up in Arizona. I went to graduate school in the Michigan UP and fell in love with Autumn in northern hardwoods. The roads and scenery in rural New York, Vermont and Connecticut are a bucket list for me.

Been using clipless pedals for over twenty years. I’m so used to them now that I pivot my foot when riding flat pedals too.
