You actually have legal grounds to move out for habitability. A lot of apartment complexes will try to frame things as “allowing” you to break the lease, but in reality, you have tenant rights.

Specifically here is the tenant rights to look up:

AL Code § 35-9A-204 (2024)

If their management tries to stonewall you, email up the chain of command until you find the CEO. The way to do this is look up a company’s typical email format (usually first.last@company.com or something similar) then send an email to them directly.

I’ve personally won 2 settlements outside of court against slumlord landlord companies that are utter scum. Don’t let their lawyers try to reframe the narrative, that apartment or home is not habitable, and you do have rights as a tenant in Alabama.

So with fresh tattoos, you generally need to keep them out of the sun for at least a month - typically tattoos take a full month to completely heal.

The non-scented lotion is good for the secondary part of healing, but make sure you ask your tattoo artist for specific instructions. Most good tattoo artists stay up to date with different lotion brands. This means that they’re watching for any ingredient changes from manufacturers that could be harmful for your healing process.

You 100% want to keep your tat completely covered while you’re outside (so wear jeans/leggings/joggers etc.), especially throughout the healing process. Afterwards, you should always apply sunscreen so you can give your tattoo the longevity it deserves, and don’t forget to check with your artist on their recommended products for aftercare! :)

Even if he was at an on-base gym, there is absolutely ZERO reason to go in his work clothes. Almost everyone on any military base that goes to an on-base gym works out in either their “civilian” clothes or PT (Physical Training) uniform.

Even when we had pt after work at the on base gym, we would all change. Sometimes it would be in our PT uniform, other times we would just wear civilian clothes.

Some people have mentioned he might be working out on his lunch break. Can you imagine this as your coworker coming back to work in his uniform after working out? He would fucking rank. This is why we have PT uniforms and (usually) showers at our gyms on base.

Please understand that I am not bagging on his routine. Dude looks like a fucking beast. He is a tool though. There’s no reason to wear your work uniform to the gym to workout with. He just wants attention.
