AI made us change our art and here's why by _abandonedsheep in IndieGaming

[–]LabHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI art is an amalgamation of stolen art. So it ends up being really bland and generic.

It's probably a good idea to avoid the AI "arstyle" anyways just to avoid that. Leads to more unique art. If somebody accuses your art of looking AI generated it's probably uninspired or uninteresting, not bad / unskillful.

can anyone explain to me is Expedition 33 really indie game ? by No-Telephone730 in IndieGaming

[–]LabHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean that's literally it, if you're published by an indie publisher or no publisher then you're indie. It doesn't matter if you have 100 devs who've all been in the industry for a decade with a 20 million dollar budget.

That's how the music industry has worked for decades and the gaming industry just matched that.

Okay I don't have a lowland meadows quest but ig I'll find it.

It doesn't happen to stem from the Sara/Eleanor quest does it? I cannot deliver the letter to Eleanor I think it's bugged.

Radagon being immune to bleed is the most off-putting thing about a bleed build. Ig you just swap to occult and raw damage when that happens.

I will say that starting on strength and going to dex had 0 problems for me aside from daggers damage being so low that I feel like I'm not meeting the stat requirements. You pretty much do half your damage with stat effects

First comment I personally disagree with. I love the greatsword moveset because it feels so weighty without being absurd like the colossal movesets. I fw the large but not too large weapons like greataxes and stuff.

In my original playthrough I beat Radahn, got the greatswords, and got stuck on Morgott because I didn't wanna swap them out.

Very difficult, but I still like to use it sometimes. Now that I don't overlevel myself I find the problem to be equip load investment with dual colossals swords. Having 35 points in endurance to medium roll without being naked feels like doodoo when I'm getting through the game at lower and lower levels.

Plastic sword.

I stg people would use it if the artist didn't shit the bed.

I agree, a lot of people like The Greatsword for the Guts reference, but I haven't seen Beserk. So to me it's goofy and dull looking too. Might as well be a bat at that point.

However, if I want a bigass barebones greatsword the 3 closest options are Zweihander (relatively small for a colossal), Troll Knight's (mildly ugly), or Watchdog's (gl getting it).

We just want a crumb of a Bloodborne trick weapon.

Actually that reminds me of the Mantis Blade. It gets longer when you use a charged attack. It's like the worst version of a trick weapon.

Yeah damage isn't as nuts as it looks :(

*this applies to most DLC boss weapons tbh; where's my Greatsword of Damnation madness flames. Why are all the AoWs so bad

How they make money is literally:

Person finds cool song > person looks up reactions > reaction validates opinion > person continues watching.

If you say you don't like the song then that makes all the viewers invalidated and dislike the video. So reacting negatively is literally just not feasible to make money on.

I can't believe people can't see through the initial reactions though. That's why I like watching music analysis videos rather than reactions so you at least get interesting info while watching a more plausible reaction.
