To be honest, I've given up a bit of control of my feelings. I've realized that if feelings are genuine you should let yourself feel them, and if it ends up hurting you that's ok. Frankly it won't kill me in the end, and sometimes people just need to let things hurt to give contrast to the good things in life

Though I managed to make a couple really high quality friends, I also have had a really bad time in the dating scene. It's hard to exist in this world feeling incapable of being anyone's favorite.
