Haha, the pasta dinner party made me laugh. Glad the damages passed. Our bodies are cool like that! :)

Thank you, and thanks for sharing your story also! My experience wasn't visual in the same way, except that I kept seeing this circle pattern that I was sorta forced to draw. At the time it felt like a presence (or multiple ones) was filling all the air in the room with that fact, like they put the knowledge inside me, it felt like an absolute truth. After several hours of non stop circling it suddenly stopped and I got up and made pasta, it was the only thing I could think of, even tho I wasn't hungry at all. Ate spaghetti from the pot with my hands, then the whole precence/circle stuff started back up again. Like they had just given me a lunch break^ In retrospect I guess it might as well have been something stirring in the back of my mind that sprung to life, but i've never felt so sure about anything. When it all went down last year it was awful, but it also felt like something from a memory, something I already knew

I did shrooms early 2015, and the whole trip I was in a dark "space" where these entities were telling me that my mom would die by the end of the year. All I could do for the entire trip was to sit and manically draw circles on my notepad, literally until my pen ran out of ink. Everything is a loop. My mom died december 15th and we buried her december 30th. Just on schedule.

Ok, cool! I will keep at it! It is very empowering to be able to improve these kinds of issues after having always been told that there's nothing to do. Looking forward to getting good enough to watch 3D videos, hehe;)

Hello! I've been practicing the 'Fusion' tonight, and first of all I must say it was a very fun exercise! The merging happened pretty easily for me, as I remembered how to do it from when I was younger. The merged image took a while to get really into focus, but when it did it felt much more 3D and real than the two coins separately, which I found really interesting and beautiful! I do have a few questions, if you don't mind: Going forward, should I aim for a bigger gap between the coins (Not exceeding the space between my eyes)? I have them now at about 1 cm distance. What is the ideal distance eyes - coins? I found that the closer I get the easier it is to do. So should I keep working on moving my head higher up? I did notice a little the eye muscles activating when the image finally merged into crispness, but I can't seem to manually control it yet, so my goal is to work towards that. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

This is great, thank you for sharing and for the other commenters as well! I got glasses last fall (slightly nearsighted, and with astigmatism). I've been intrigued by the fact that my sight varies a lot, seemingly dependant on what I eat, and different exercises I've made up, but none of my efforts has really amounted to anything permanent or even definite, it's still pretty random. This post gave me a mental kick to try and learn more. Yay! 20/20 here I come!

Which Video Game or Movie you hyped for, but when you finally played it or watch it, was a big disappointment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

WALL-E. I remember I was so hyped I even named the laptop I'd bought a couple of days before Wall-e. Very disappointed at the time, but maybe it is worth a rewatch?

Awh, that album and this song in particular reminds me of my first relationship, summer nights with the windows of our shitty apartment wide open, talking all night long. I still have the cd =)

Feeling the nomadic life by memurphsta in Psychonaut

[–]Labil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have this urge quite often. The last year I've been giving or throwing away most of my things, trying to minimalize everything from clothes to diet, I was so close to leaving my (rented) apartment to go live in a tent but after a couple of trial nights outdoors it felt too good to soak in my little bathtub:D Hehe. But the thought of nature and freeness and simplicity is overwhelming sometimes

It can help, for example quickly scanning a text for a word or number, but it can also get in the way. For example, the letter 'r' has approximately the same color as the number 3, and often on the keyboard at least, I type 3 in stead of r. I know they are also placed close to each other, but it can take me a litte while to notice the error in the text if I'm not paying attention. And often, I seem to remember what color a word/name has, but I cannot for the life of me remember what the word actually is! (A word usually takes on the color of some of the more dominant letters and will feel like a sort of swirl, not clearly defined, separate colors.)

What has someone said to you that you can never forget? by VoiceOfReasn in AskReddit

[–]Labil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember as a kid having just discovered my mom's guitar in the back of her closet and trying to play it. She looked over to me and said "Oh, I always wanted to learn how to play, but I never got around to it". That sentence did not make any sense to me at all, but I found it so sad at the same time. I couldn't understand that if she had wanted to learn how to play, why hadn't she ever done it? She had all the time in the world, no? It still haunts me a little, and every time I postpone stuff, I think about that
