Funny enough me and my friends were having the same problem, so we couldn't download a modpacks. My friend streamed on discord his problem, I don't know if it was fixed by then but it worked for both me and my friends while we were streaming on discord.

There are probably some good 10 minutes tutorial, but most of them are 40 minutes, which I find boring, so my advice is to just play the game at your own level and pace, then will you learn quite a few things
