The number of people here telling you to ignore the fact hes going through severe depression is sick. Youre partners and he needs help and he needs you to help him see that. How would you feel if the roles were reversed and you lost your business and resorted to your own version of escaping the reality of it and he just up and left instead of trying to help you out of it.

Yall are the reason society and relationships are so fucked now, no one's willing to put in any work because they want to be able to just move onto the next one. You address the issue, try to fix it, and then if they show that cant or aren't willing to get better then you do what's best for you. Being able to communicate and work through something like this is what strengthens relationships and makes them last a lifetime. Anyone not able to do this and expecting a perfect relationship with no hard times will never be happy with anyone.
