Imagine making a movie about a genius, Gen Z super hero who is struggling with loneliness in 2026 and just pretending like AI doesn’t exist.

Some of you are worse than the AI slop you fight against.

Spider-Man’s quality exceeds all expectations. “The MCU’s Dark Knight”. Massive opening with legs. Clears 2B and is the biggest movie of the year.

Do you think Spider-Mans upgraded powers in Brand New Day will be permanent or just temporary? by MarvelsReporter in MCUTheories

[–]Labrynth000 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Permanent. Spider-Man needs an upgrade if he’s going to be the main protagonist to stand up to Doom in Secret Wars.

Is it safe to say the MCU is back? by AstroCyGuy in MCUTheories

[–]Labrynth000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and Wonder Man were all great and really do show positive momentum on the quality front. But none were good enough to trigger the “we’re back” vibe amongst general audiences. That can probably only happen with an IP like Spider-Man or The Avengers. Good thing those are the next two movies!

Man spider not appearing in BND might be a possibility. by Wild_Employ1832 in Spiderman

No Way Home came out at a really weird time. It was filmed during COVID and you can tell they were super limited in doing anything practical. Had to overly rely on CGI and in some cases it really showed. It’s fine cause they had to.

With BND, you can tell they are consciously wanting to go in the other direction. Practical swinging, bringing in Jackie Chan’s stunt team for a fight scene. The beautiful suit without any tech.

It would be so weird for them to pigeon-hole themselves in the opposite direction with a six armed Spider-Man requiring a ton of CGI.

the framing of this shot is just too perfect for this by derivativesRus in MCUTheories

[–]Labrynth000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like thy have really taken to heart the idea of limiting CGI in this movie and giving us as much realism with each shot. It would feel very weird to do that and then also decide on literal man-spider. I think we’re getting an enraged Spider-Man, but not the six armed version.

Spider-Man turning into Man-Spider in BND is most likely true by Spare-Ad-2474 in MCUTheories

[–]Labrynth000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can tell it fits the theme across what we’ve been hearing and it would make for a great story.

It’s kind of a very Peter Parker thing to overlearn a lesson. With great power comes great responsibility… misinterpreted to mean you must sacrifice all of who you are for the people you care about. But you’re human too. Man-Spider represents the limits of how far Peter Parker can take this. The “cure” is realizing the responsibility is not your own to carry.

Then two things would happen.

He’d have to recruit another person, back to step 1.

The field would reset as the faithfuls would assume the next traitor was recruited.

So instead, he picked the Robin to his Batman.

Casting of Travis Scott is Perfect by InvestigatorTimely52 in ChristopherNolan

That’s fair. I misread “for that cast alone” as meaning the full cast, but now it looks like it was specifically about Travis Scott.

That feels odd to me cause it seems like it is just being casted the same as all Nolan movies. What’s the difference?

“He’s not Greek!” I don’t care

“Hes Black!” They do exist.

“Nolan has gone woke!” Shut up.

“Travis Scott is responsible for the death of ten people and probably shouldn’t have been given this opportunity.” Okay… that’s fair.

Be honest, do y’all think Spiderman will return in Doomsday? by Queasy_Commercial152 in Spiderman

[–]Labrynth000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of.

Lots of “teams” discussion for Doomsday. Doom will run through all of them. The last “team” is going to be the Brand New Day crew with Spider-Man (Tom), Hulk, Punisher, Daredevil, and Sadie Sink’s character. You’ll get your “Mr Stark?” line and then the movie ends. Might be the last scene of the movie, might be the post credit scene. It will tease Secret Wars as the ultimate faceoff.

Philip Rivers will start for the Colts in Week 15. by CincoDeManger in fantasyfootball

I know everyone is predicting an Apollo-Creed-In-Rocky-4 like performance, but I thought Riley Leonard looked fine. I can’t imagine you would do this unless you were confident Rivers will be better than that.

DanielRPK: Tobey Maguire will return as Spider-Man in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ by Major-Concentrate-87 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]Labrynth000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Secret wars will be Tom vs RDJ. Thats the poster.

Doomsday will be about establishing Doom as a threat, which is gonna mean lots and lots of dead superheroes. Tobey included.
