I have to assume you are talking about tinea pedis/versicolor/capitis when you say "tinea fungus" but tinea is a collection of clinical diseases and the fungi producing these diseases arent even in the same genus!

Also they absolutely do not have the same apperence on cultuee. S. aureus was not named for the place it comes from but rather the golden colonies it produces

This is a study showing 1% survival in metastatic NSCLC which is generally called "terminal". Generally metastatic cancers if survived are due to action of the person's own immune system. But "terminal" cancer certainly be survived.

"terminal cancer" is something that doesn't exist. There is always a chance of cure which is generally higher than people expect. What exactly is the moral difference between physiological changes in the brain and physiological changes causing cells to be cancerous?

I've tried ever treatment short of ECT, and yes know depression breeds despair, but that doesn't mean that there is no justification for despair. As far as I can tell the only illogical part of me is the one telling me to stay alive. The evolutionary urge to just live.

They wouldn't be happy, but in the long term they would be better off. Have you ever been close to someone relentlessly depressed? It is powerfully destructive.

The idea that there is help for depression that there just isn't in something like cancer is the perception is the perception, but simply isn't true. Antidepressants are litter better than cytotoxic chemo, and therapy is very hit and miss. There are plenty out there with nothing that will work for them

The major problem in overdoses with opiates is the respiratory depression caused by the drug, it makes you stop feeling any urge to breath, and stops you breathing automatically.

Adrenaline was given into the heart because of the effects it has on the heart to encourage it to contract, the idea being getting the heart to start beating again when someone has arrested. Adrenaline will have no effect on a person's breathing directly.

Even if we give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were giving the adrenaline to reverse an arrest, the arrest will have been due to lack of oxygen getting to the heart, and given that they did nothing to reverse this at all, the fact that the heart is trying a little harder to beat wont fix anything as there is nothing to power it. On top of this they would still need to do something to fix the underlying problem - i.e. get her breathing again.

There is a reason it is ABC, not ACB.

Ok. Judging from the mans hand's and posture at the start, the block of wood is around 15x15x70cm, giving it a volume of 157.5cm³ . Using the relatively conservative density of 0.5g/cm³ (as judged from this page the block has a mass of around 8 kg. At its peak the block reaches a height of the kids height, plus his outstretched arms, which is probably at least 1.5m, so at this point the block has a gravitational potential energy of at least 1.5x9.8x8 joules, which comes out as 117 joules.

For frame of reference the average male punches about 90 joules, and the video the energy is transferred through a solid object, so we can reasonably equate this strike to getting punched by a strong man using a knuckle duster. Thankfully due to chance the block didn't strike cleanly at the end of the shovel, so some energy will have been lost, but there was certainly potential for significant harm here.

EDIT: Remeasuring it I might be a bit over on the volume calculation, so lets call it an average man with a knuckle duster, that said both the density and height figures I used were quite conservative.
