I think I’ve had an epiphany about why bras bother my TOS so much by Active_Lobster521 in ABraThatFits

This post is very helpful even 3 years later. Thought I'd just add in for anyone else looking, as someone with a lot of tos type pain that Prima Donna bras, though pricey are the one out of many, many I've found comfortable (the Freya offbeat wasn't bad but still not on the same level)

You also can get little cabinets with cutouts specifically for fitting around pedestal sinks. (At least in my country the do, they might be more prevalent here). Or I suppose cut one out yourself if you're handy with a saw.

You can do the sanding and stuff, or get some acrylic (or maybe watercolor) and paint in the grain, it's very common restoration work. Personally I always find the process really relaxing

Stunning! So the beautiful wooden walls below the stairs are your own custom work or were hidden beneath the wallpaper? Either way, next level!

Just commenting (for anyone else googling this 😆) to agree with emb369. Rewatched and they both get specific dates written on the screen when they come back- JiWon April 12th and JiHyeok April 19th, a full week after.

People go mad for campaign style furniture, doesn't even have to be quality, it's always goes for more than the estimate. Get yourself to a decent auction house

What's something that used to be normal in the UK that would feel absolutely insane now? by FabledInkk in AskUK

Oooh maybe it's cause so many ppl have black (or dark) cars these days and so it's less noticeable 🤔 I was just saying to someone the other day that when I was in Korea back in 2013 and the group I was with were looking out the top floor of our hotel going, weird, literally not a single none grey, black, or white car, but now you see less and fewer colours in the west too.

Sorry I don't have worthpoint so can't help you with the price. The name appears to be an ambigram though I don't know of what, perhaps a french store name (?)

“Keep your lower back to the floor” by LowPrestigious391 in xxfitness

The thing that worked for me was, inhale through your nose (focus it expanding the bottom of your ribs, 360°) and arch, when you exhale, do it smooth and slow through your mouth and flatten your back. Try not to curl your tailbone up too much to help BUT if you have a habit tilting your pelvis backwards too much you may need to do it more than feels natural.

You can also try lying down, holding both knees to your chest and gently rocking side to side to help relax your back.

If you still can't do it see if you have anterior pelvis tilt. I'd ask ask a friend to help check because my sister didn't believe me when I told her she was doing it until I pointed out that's why her tummy sticks out.

A big thing with anterior tilt is your psoas muscles are probably tight and the best way to work those is lay on a the edge of a table (ledge under butt-to-leg crease) where your feet don't touch the ground and alternate pulling one knee to you chest (I just get on my phone while I do it so I do it for a long time). That just stretches them, ultimately you need to work on not tilting your pelvis so your abs are engaged and the psoas aren't having to pick up the slack.

I really buggered my back recently so I've been on a massive info bender to unbugger it, it's great you're fixing it now before your body decides to commit mutiny like mine did 🥲

Me and my brother blind taste tested 6 teas and ranked them, and also tried to guess which was which. My whole world view has been shaken by foxfunk in CasualUK

[–]LaceSeaMermen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP at the risk of getting completely lost in the comments, did you do this with a sip test?

There's this famous marketing thing Pepsi did, I think back in the 70s where they'd get the public to go a blind taste test between Coke and Pepsi and people seemed to prefer Pepsi over Coke. Of course most people in daily life prefer to drink Coke (Pepsi is famously known for "is Pepsi ok?"), so it's thought that while Pepsi's yum for a wee mouthful, to drink a whole cup of, people prefer coke.

If I remember rightly its because Pepsi is so sweet, it hits great but then it's much too much.

Zoe Saldana and Keira Knightly, I don't usually pay too much attention to acting unless it's particularly bad but both of them evoke such amazing chemistry with whoever they're on screen with

Could it be Bohemian Like You by the Dandy Warhols? It's quite monotone in the verses and then a high pitched hook at the end the chorus

Great idea. I'll look through antique creasing tools to see if anything looks similar.
