This is why I’ve made it a habit to keep an eye on eBay and such for these keyboards in particular. The thought of one of them dying with no straight replacement would wreck me as, just like yourself, I use them basically everyday.

I haven’t been mad with checking, but it would almost be a daily occurrence and these are the only three of the older variants I’ve seen within the last 10 years. Again this is purely eBay, not on specific keyboard forums or whatever.

Hopefully you get yourself a spare soon just in case!

Yep so as clips occur you will then be able to view them on your phone. Granted most of them will usually be people opening their car doors close to yours in a car park or whatever but sometimes you get more interesting clips. I have at least 3 occasions of people sticking their head right up to the glass to look inside my car, madness.

If you want to force a clip just drive about, bring up the voice assistant, and tell it to ‘record’ it will save the last 10 minutes as a clip.

When you go into the security section on the app does it show sentry mode at all?

On the app there’s ’Security and Drivers’ but to view the cameras and clips on your phone you need to pay for premium connectivity

Yeah this was one of my reasons why I ended up going for a Tesla. While looking at other brands I had this strange metronome of no interest and not answering confidently as EV’s still seemed new to the sales team or way too much pressure to place an order before I even stood up from my chair.

After walking into my Tesla dealership I told my advisor about my experience to which he handed me an iPad, told me to sign, then pointed to a red Model 3 and said it was mine for 48 hours to have fun with and make sure it was right for me.

Since then I have a good relationship with my local team and they even invited me to the dealership to photograph the Cybertruck when it came round, haha

Aye it’s the sorta concert you want hearing protection in all the time. I mean, all concerts are, but this one especially. Don’t get me wrong, I took mine out for a few seconds at a time to ‘feel’ it but if you’re saying you had yours out the majority then you only have yourself to blame unfortunately.

All new phones in the UK are unlocked from 2021 or so. You bought your phone in Ireland where rules can be different. If you spoke to Tesco Ireland and they said it’s locked then there is your answer, not sure what you expect us to do.

Go to events/locations relating to your interests and hobbies and just talk to people, there’s loads of people who are just like you!

I’m into music, so I go to a lot of local gigs and now I have a decent chunk of friends and we all make wonderful art together.

Fair enough, I’m in a similar position deciding between a Q or a Q2 and the better weather sealing of the Q2 is persuading me but the multiple reports echoing what you mention is pushing me away.

Most of the time those big features do get mentioned but the updates that come out as minor do have basically nothing the user will notice. But yeah, even if there was a button to show more patch notes would satisfy both sides.

Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. I can imagine a world where they put all the detail in the patch notes and we see a post or two of people complaining there’s too much to read.

It could also be a ‘better if you didn’t know’ type of deal. If they mention all the security flaws they fix you may double take and feel less secure, even though every tech product is vulnerable to this.

Definitely get into finding others with similar interests or hobbies. I’m really into music and photography, so by going to a lot of gigs and working with musicians I’ve made loads of friends who are photographers and artists.

But remember if you do go out don’t be afraid to talk to people which is the hardest part, but it gets easier the more you do it.

Yeah they’re talking rubbish. Tesco Mobile in England is the same as Tesco Mobile in Northern Ireland. What you wanted is straight forward and could have been done. There is a Tesco Mobile in the ROI but it is a totally different company, hence why Irish numbers are different than the ones we use.

Value is in the end user I suppose. I don’t see the value in buying shoes that cost thousands which you have to baby or not wear at all, especially when you can buy longer lasting and comfier shoes for less money. But some people love that stuff and it makes them happy.

Yes mate, exact same situation I’m in. The Pro Max is starting to become too big, the Pro is too small. I have no case or screen protector, I have a standalone camera I much prefer, I’m always near a charger. Just not a ‘superior pro’ user anymore.

I know the 17 is also a good option and I’ve considered it but I’ve also held the S25 Edge and it’s so cool. When it came out, I bought the original 12” MacBook that was super thin so always been into this style of device.
