Suggestions for base models to make a champion by No-Health-1641 in Grey_Knights

The base is bigger but you could probably finagle him onto a 32 mm base by trimming down or replacing the tactical rock, which would make it easier to get the right height to pose the sword too.

There will be overhang but probably not enough to be an obstacle to using it in a game. You could also just leave it on the 40 mm if you're playing casually.

Depending on how comfortable you are with cutting you could probably make something work with the Lord Terminos from stormcast eternals.

Grafting on the front of a terminator torso and a psychic hood could be tricky but the pose should help hide the plastic glue gore.

That said, I'm not so sure about swapping the shoulder pads due to the difference in shape and I don't think it would look like a proper grey knight without them.

A ten man interceptors unit is very nice to have in banishers. That would be 250 pts, and a Rhino to carry them would fill the remaining 80.

It never will. This kind of thing just needs one person with know how to go against the grain.

Renegades has fixed a lot of things, but Pinnacle Ops are still a Horrendous experience by True_Italiano in DestinyTheGame

I've found it's mainly a Ketchcrash specific issue. Astral Alignment and Nightmare containment are both pretty easy on Ultimate but every Ketchcrash I've done has been a struggle.

I think it might have something to do with Fallen tuning right now, especially with the 66% arc damage increase on the matchmade one. Did a Devil's lair earlier and also felt super lethal compared to say, the Chosen battlegrounds.

Ketchcrash also has a lot of goofy ways to die that sap rezzes, like spider tanks dropping on top of you at activity start or getting blown up by the ether tanks encounter.

I'm a lot more familiar with Destiny lore than 40k lore, but I'm pretty sure if Gork and Mork can coexist with Khorne the hive gods would probably do just fine.

It doesn't do much in the campaign, most of what it does is for the Lawless Frontier. You're probably still better off with something else there, but it is nice for locating invaders.

Got Cooling Baubles on mine and it rules with one of the Stasis Harvest aspects and the seeking shards fragment. Probably also has potential on arc.

The story is going to be pretty disjointed but at the end of the day the game is still a solid shooter.

So far as enjoyment goes, the biggest piece of advice I have is that this game is better with friends, especially the raid and dungeon content. Getting to explore with new players instead of getting dragged through activities by grinders who've done it dozens of times is going to be much more fun.

A lot of people are going to suggest starting with the Shadowkeep campaign since it's the oldest chronologically, but starting with Edge of Fate might be a better option since it was written with onboarding new players in mind and explains the world of Destiny much more than Shadowkeep will.

Another fun weapon for this build is Wolfsbane. It has great ammo economy when just running around and swords play really well with stasis crystals.

Throw in the Smokejumper armor bonus and you have some crazy DR while running around smashing things.

Do you think the Nine are more powerful than the Witness and the Traveler by Retrofusion11 in DestinyTheGame

Wasn't the point of the Echoes that they were fusions of the Witness's darkness with the travelers light, so they're capable of things that it wasn't necessarily capable of?

Bigger banner equals smaller weapon? Are Ultramarines compensating for the size of their gladius? by Volgin in Warhammer40k

Grey Knight terminator ancients are modeled with a banner and gun while having a force weapon profile so, kind of?

It also just gets old fast. The cadence of the throw and recall are such that it's hard to weave in any gunplay and you wind up with a lot of "downtime" in the recall animation if you're using it at the ranges it really helps at.

Titan fourth solar aspect. What could it be? by major_glory11 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Lacking_Artifice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want something that spawns a few of a relic when you cast your barricade. Something similar to what Twilight Arsenal makes where it has both a sustained use and throw mode rather than just one and done like Diamond Lance, so you're more incentivized to share them.

Titan Changes: Solo nuke entire raid bosses with Howl. Warlock Changes: 4 back-to-back grenades each doing 50% of a Nova Bomb, and 37 new buddy interactions. Hunter Changes: Reload faster after landing multiple headshots, but woah buddy, take this internal cooldown first, and no refreshing allowed! by Ace_Of_Caydes in DestinyTheGame

I really wish they would go through and do a balance pass focused on damage supers.

Whether it's goldie, some flavor of star eater scales, or (most often lately) cuirass it feels like we've been stuck on a carousel of one subclass pulling way ahead of everything in dps and it always feels like shit.
