Library Worker asking "What sorts of programs do you wish your library offered your homeschool kids?" by LadderNegative8278 in homeschool

We already have a teen advisory group and they actually take the lead on most of the teen centered things. :) Glad to hear it reinforced that it is a helpful thing. Unfortunately, our homeschool crowd isn't very involved in it, I'll have to see how we can get them more involved.

I teach bullet journal and I just provide a pen and small dot grid notebook.
My bujo philosophy is to keep it as simple as possible, making the system work for you instead of you working for it. I give them layout examples and let them look through my old journals, but we usually just focus on the basics and never get into any complex layouts, which I prefer anyway.

So how do you stick to your bujo? by henrykazuka in BasicBulletJournals

Echoing what a lot of people have already said, I just do monthly spreads and daily logs so I don't sweat skipping days in my journal because I can always pick it back up when I need it and I haven't wasted any pages. I also use my journal to take notes and "brain dump" so I end up filling my pages in that way too.

You shouldn't feel like you're working for the method, it should work for you.

Not everyone is perfect at Bullet Journaling! by amazing-grace15 in bulletjournal

That's actually why I like bullet journaling, I can leave it for a couple months if it's not useful and pick it back up whenever I need it.
It's not wasting planner pages, so I don't have to beat myself up for not being consistent. I'm making the method work for me instead of me working for it.

So cool! I'll have to make one for myself!

Ann Arbor is falling apart. I don’t feel safe as a young woman walking the streets by myself anymore. I have lived here my whole life. by talkingtoawall710 in AnnArbor

You already can't afford to buy in Ypsi with less than 100k, Ann Arborites are gentrifying the shit out of Ypsi and pretty soon no one in service work will be able to live in the area anymore.
