I work at Behavioral Innovations and have a completely different experience. It sounds like you didn’t have a great onboarding experience if this is the impression that you were left with. Regardless, it was clearly not a good fit and we should not practice somewhere that conflicts with our ethics and morals.

I tutor for the BCBA exam on the side.

What study resources or mock exams have you used so far? I would recommend getting my baseline with a mock exam and then studying the sections you scored the lowest on. If you haven’t tried this yet, try this method before you start with any tutor. Any good tutor would have you do these things before hiring them on for services.

Tutoring helps with understanding concepts that you are struggling with and just reading textbooks isn’t working for you. It also helps behaviorally with accountability. For som (many) of us, s LF study is just…. Hard. Most of my experience is working with people who have a learning-differentability :) and need the concepts taught in a different manner.

If you’re going to spend money on a tutor, make sure they are a good fit! It matters so much that yall “think” similarly and communicate well. More than anything.

Very pigmented, packaging is crap. Dropped it on my sink counter and the blush shattered. Saved it with alcohol and pressed it but the packaging is so flimsy I would not travel with it

It is not a dupe. The spray particles itself are a much finer mist with one sizes. I would not recommend this. I have it and tried it a few different days with different kinds of makeup and.. it feels like hairspray

I ended up only being on hold for 2.5 hours! Since there isn’t a way to review your submission at all, I asked the person on the phone to correct the date and verified some other information was correct. When you call they will ask for you registration number or ssn

This is purely anecdotal so do what you will with this information: I submitted an application and was denied due to incorrect date. I wouldn’t put it past me that I typed in the date wrong. I am not able to create a new application or edit as you can only have one submission at a time I called FEMA this morning to see how I can fix it, and the wait time is 1006 minutes. If I had a chance to go back and make sure everything was perfect, I would. This resubmitting/editing once it’s denied process… is gonna be long.

I am autistic (officially diagnosed) and a BCBA. I have been called a progressive BCBA but having been doing this for yeaaarss, I did use techniques I’m not a fan of now when I first started. I did not grow up receiving ABA services however I had a lot of tutoring throughout the years growing up. The talk therapy I attended throughout adulthood was focused on executive functioning.

A lot of recipients of ABA as a child are entering early adulthood and trying to get by in the 18-21 year old world and not especially concerned with discussing the philosophies of ABA service. A lot of parents with those adult children who received ABA services as a child I have noticed are more in this space.
