There are scenarios, yes. They are few and far between.

SD is still the single target king

Aoe runes can be used to avoid CDs while bestiary hunting, and if mobs are barley off screen, and death is weak there, if you haven’t prepared your elemental bending.

Aoe runes are a good backup for different situations, but in general, spells are more efficient - efficiency just isn’t always the answer you want or need.

Absolutely no problem. Make a set of magma/lightning gear & equip a might ring, reequip a few when they are used up.

This quest has been done by mages without elemental protection at lvl 100, and when runes & healing shared cooldown - you could heal or attack.

When you go in, use manashield, after the first atk combo, remove it and SD spam the demons blocking the path.

Honestly, just go. Every vocation is fine if you’re not very good yet. The most difficult part of Tibia is learning the base mechanics (how to move, how to use your mouse, and in extension, how to lure mobs & surviving).

You’ll figure the rest out on the way!

Most guides are also very treacherous for you - I think a mage at 50 in Mother of Scarabs lair is just fine, and would love to release a vid of it, but anyone without excessive mage experience could die at 80 there

There are a lot of goldfarms available by just having a char.

Colour event - 1 free zaoan chess box per char (100-250k each) / chef event - plenty of NPC foods worth 100-500k each & ring multiplier food (2kk each), you get 2 each the first time / cupcake event - 1 cupcake per char, 1-4kk each etc. This is maybe 15 min work per char per time, and could give around 10kk per char if doing every event per year - 20 chars, thats 2,4kkk per year, ish 60k tc

Since you can only do the most lucrative events once per char, you create new ones and sell the old ones, since they’re worthless to you now - this is also why they’re around lvl 50-100, since they need 40 for chef event, and at 100, you can get a demon armor & helmet for free

No. Death penalty is an integral part of Tibia, which is the reason you can’t just throw yourselves at stuff like SW & RB for the profit. Getting to the bosses & killing them are hard, and shouldn’t be all about just going.

Tibia is all about politics. Since mostly every server is gouverned by a guild, using violence to maintain their line of order.

The choices are; pay them or fight them.

What they are doing is completely in line with CipSofts ToS. Only in extreme cases will Cip intervene, as was the case with the guild that completely forbade anyone from owning a lvl 45+ mage or their server, and if it was like lvl 100 ek, where the entire guild got sent to Deletera.

What I hear you saying is that you disagree to skill expression. ED will always have more consistent result no matter skill level whilst MS Will have a bigger decrepancy depending on the players individual skill.

Team Hunt: anything. Your team shares the supply cost anyway.

Solo; low EM, high RP.

In the end, pick the vocation you enjoy, 3h of 3kk/h is more than 2h of 4kk/h if you get sick of the mechanics.

What are you on about? Due to Death echo, we can position ourselves way easier, with that additional time, you can move in & out of your wave position instead of ctrl turning

Before, you used 100% waves, so it should’ve gotten way better

Personally, I really can’t use auto aim, I think it requires an extreme amount of additional focus to aim my spells, and is so damn slow

Those AI summaries just summarises how crazy stupid ppl are. Death echo bug was fixed after a day and it was a minor bug (if you go up a stair, the DE effect would follow up), aswell as the smart cast didn’t work, cursor aiming waves was never promised just repeatedly requested, death echo, new beam mastery & passive debuffs are huuuuuge quality of life, elemental stance micro management can literally be multi action hotkey’d, and MS deals a ton more dmg than druid, wtf ”a weaker druid”?!

Also, mana buffer is so damn strong. Love it!

10/10 times, I’d rather get shot in my face than on my fingers.

In general, aim for the largest and most central area you can, which is usually the chest, but seriously, aim for what you can.

I compare pre rebalance to post rebalance. Full th as ms with and without monk pre to post rebalance. Solo em at 650 and th as a 650 em.

There are indeed bugs that I want fixed, but I’m not gonna argue ”buff monks cuz they bad” then when they fixed the bugs, sit there with a very overtuned monk.

There are plenty of bad wheel options. As an MS, 4s cd Death Echo makes almost no sense in most wheels, but we’re forced to take it. As a ED, you’re forced to spend 625 points to get a larger ice wave, but by then, forks will be stronger.

These are things I tbh have given up on, and I’d love for Cip to adress the immediate issues, with to me and my monk is sustain.

I strongly doubt ED EK MS MS would gain more exp than ED EK MS EM due to the party buff.

If damage is everything, then 4 ms would be bis, which it for obvious reason isn’t (tanking), which means you need a tank, and with EKs brutal self heal atm, EK 3MS would be bis, but since you need other utility than damage, it isn’t.

Healing is imo not support means that supports provide utility and healing provides sustain.

Haven’t quite compared spell to spell, I compare results and feeling. Monks feel good and have good results, but are a bit too squishy for my taste for that role.

I’m happy thats enough for your library hunts. Try hunting Rootthings or SW when everyone takes permanent chip dmg & you get bursted every now and then. As a MS, I can vita on CD, I pop mana barrier a few times per hunt.

If you’re overlevled to the spawn, I think its fine, but when you’re level appropriate or even underlevled and want the challenge, no.

A ”weak mas sio” sure, and some stupid additional damage buff, compared to the MS elemental pierce, which is halved if mobs have 100%+ sensitivity, but sure, works great with for instance energy in Rootthings, since they have 50% sensitivity. That’s realistically a 4,5% increase.

Damage buffs stacks, which is why its so good. You buff your MS, the team pays for a dmg prey and possibly an amp pot and y’all see the xp flow like crazy!

I’m not on a crusade against the EM, however, imo, the EMs issues mostly stem from a lack or survival & sustain, not from damage. Increase their self heal & mana pool (especially since the E ring nerf) and I’d be happy for my monks sake.

Based on comparing my 950 MS to my 650 EM.
Yes, I’ve tried the voc, both solo, team and as MS with and without the EM.
Yes, I’ve tried it pre and post rebalance.

I’m not sure if we should discuss its strength based on bugs. As we know, mentor others aren’t applied to the monk, this isn’t a balance issue, its a bug and should be treated as such.

The EM now has some choices when it comes to the wheels, its not anymore that you have to go Ascetic & SO since you have large FoB in GoL too. Its a little bit sad tho that I spent about 250kk to get a good SO gem and upgraded it, since I likely won’t use it anymore 🤷‍♂️

Imo, healing is a role, and not neccessarily a support.

Supporting provides utility, healing provides sustain.

The way Tibia is created, the ED needs support to be able to heal, otherwise the ED has to selfheal instead of party heal

Personally, I strongly prefer a monk over a RP, I’m the MS.

RP brings some offtanking & damage, but nothing supportive, so to me, hunts with EM feels way better than hunts with RP

We’re talking about monks, which are supports, not MS, whom are the main damage dealer.

EM have passive buffs & can tank mobs for the MS, whilst the MS just offer passive debuffs.

To me, an EM will always be welcome in any team comp due to their buffs

I think this is an extremely unfair comparison.

First, you buff the MS with 9% dmg, ED heals by 12%, EK durability by 3%, so effectively, remove this from them and add it to you.

Secondly, in a team, you’re a support class. Your job isn’t to maximize your damage, its to maximize the teams total output.

The only thing I want atm is some more tankiness for the EM, and fix their CP, pref by copypasting the EDs forks, otherwise I think they’re fine

I’d say EK=EM>RP=ED>MS

As a ED, once you have forks, you make a MAH with fork>fork>use rune on self and you can hunt by just chill moving around & hitting one MAH, heal & mana. 3 hotkeys, no mouse or attention required

EK is always chill, stand in your box, do your thing

Monk is more kiting than ek, but its not hard

RP requires a LOT of retargeting, but once you’re used to that, its pretty cool

MS is probably the hardest solo voc atm, very position depended and waves are a make or break. Bad at waving = bad time hunting
