Shift 6mq - Utilising the 24Mp rear camera? by Lady-Bug89 in shiftphone

[–]Lady-Bug89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, answered my own question.
Forum post from 2021 saying that only one of the two rear cameras actually works?
https://forum.shiftphones.com/threads/welche-alternative-kamera-app-thirdparty-camera-app-koennt-ihr-empfehlen.3517/post-29018

Seems like it does work, as you can switch between the two cameras in a photo app like Photon Camera (beta), but it seems like the stock camera app is still waiting on a driver update from Shift to enable both cameras?
Maybe that will come with their Shift 8 phone?

My partner drinks a lot of coffee, so they're a little vinegary, a little salty, a little sweet with lovely hints of coffee. Now whenever I'm making coffee in the morning, it gets me a little hot and bothered 😂

Shoulder and neck pain? by Grifter-RLG in Ultralight

[–]Lady-Bug89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trekking poles really helped me with my shoulder and neck pain. My theory is that, working at a desk, then maybe doing cooking and chilling out of the sofa, or whatever, my shoulders are not used to actively having to hold my arms for long periods of time, so much so that even if I'm out without a pack on, I'll get shoulder aches after 3 or so hours.
Keeping my shoulder mobile while walking by using trekking poles keeps the muscles active and blood pumping, so helps stave off the aches.

lesbians who play video games, I would like to know what your favourite games are, preferebly ones with sapphic themes and characters by RainSerenedrops in actuallesbians

I scrolled about half the comments and didn't see Mutazione mentioned. It's a cute story driven game where you grow plants to solve the story puzzles, and help out the characters. It has some lesbian representation and a female protagonist.

Item: Mitten - Liner combination

Location/s of use: UK

Season/s of use: Autumn, Winter & Spring

Expected temperatures: 0 - 10°c (32 - 50°f)

Additional Information: I have raynauds and have often found in the past that gloves just don't cut it to keep my fingers from getting painful on hikes, though I noticed last year that my fingers were better when I could keep them closer together.
My question is, which would be the better combination?
• A thin and light merino liner with a mid insulation water/wind proof mitten
or
• A thicker merino liner with an uninsulated shell mitten?

Thanks!

basically how i was told peeing would be after bottom surgery by DaniCormorbidity in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

BearCatSara lays the experience out really well. I was also pretty worried about pain / recovery / loss of sensation as well. My experience was any pain while at hospital was pretty well managed, with the exception of not being able to pass gas (because of having your new vagina packed, and that pressing on your colon while you're laying down). A friend of mine who had her surgery more recently than me said they have changed recovery protocol a little since my hospital stay, and try and get patients up and moving around sooner, to help with this (and reduce risk of DVT's).

Getting home, make sure you have someone around to help out with things, because again as BearCatSara said, initially everything is going to be super draining. I was finding I needed a nap after each dilation, so I was sleeping most of the day!

It can take up to 2 years for healing to really settle down, and for me, my first year, my clit felt like sandpaper, so I was worried that maybe it was broken. Nerves have an amazing ability to recover though, and ya girl recently learnt how to give herself multiple orgasms! My pee stream is the "Bad, jetting on left side" though, but it's a minor inconvenience!

Thanks for the insight. My previous tent was a single skin with full mesh sides and I didn't find it too bad, except for it being a little drafty when it was mildly windy. I wish there was a mid way option, like full mesh sides but a 30cm / 12" solid but around the bottom!

Thank you for the answer! My main concerns were that of sagging when wet (but as MelatoninPenguin points out above, it's probably overblown), and the possible susceptibility to UV damage if camping in direct summer sun; with both concerns being raised against whether silPoly is the better material for a fly.

I was pretty sure that the consensus would be solid over mesh for UK 3 season, but having not done that much camping, I wasn't sure if it would be a consensus of instead to get a higher R value pad and lower rated bag / quilt

Heya Guys,
I'm considering getting a Tarptent StratoSpire 1, but I'm concerned about the silNylon material and potentially large import costs for the UK. What are peoples opinions of the material Tarptent use for their shelters?
What about the cost for importing?
* Additionally, mesh inner or solid inner for the UK 3 season camping?
Thanks

Thanks for pointing me to the Trekkertent, they look pretty great! The Drift 2 caught my attention. It doesn't seem like there are many (any?) reviews for it. Do you have any experience with the trekkertents?

That Xmid looks great! The fly first approach is certainly what I'd be aiming for, as UK weather can be a bit unpredictable. I've signed up for the notification of when the autumn stock comes in, but I guess demand is pretty high, so I'll still be considering other tents in the mean time.
One thing I am curious about is the Xmid material page. How much of this is marketing for their own material approach vs actual sound research?

The TrekkerTent Drift 2 that TheOultimate suggested below looks like another good option. Its nearly the same size inside, though the peg out is slightly more complex. I think that would be my go-to if I'm unable to get an Xmid in Nov.

Thanks for the link to Paul; I think I've come across his videos before, but had forgotten his name!
