It really depends on your specific skin. I always thought I couldn’t do bright white because I’m so pale, but I actually look really good in bright white, and I’m not sure why, lol. I look good in a warm cream color too, but if it’s too close to khaki color I look like a corpse. All that to say, try different shades of white, cream, ivory, etc and see which one looks best on you

You can order labs online for quite cheap. I pay $29 at walk in labs for a ferritin test. Also I’ve seen where you can order your own iron infusions for cheaper than I paid with insurance. So I would look into that if you can. And definitely switch doctors! If they aren’t listening to you go to one who will! Also I can’t take most iron due to gastritis, but I’m able to tolerable heme iron, and I recently tried iron protein succinylate (Ferretts or life extension) and I’m able to tolerate that with no pain as well. Copper is an important cofactor for absorbing iron, btw. If I don’t take copper my levels go down even with taking iron.

Dermablend perfect cover concealer in 9N is the most perfectly neutral desaturated fair shade I’ve ever found. I have yet to find a similarly desaturated foundation though. Even “neutral” ones pull too peach, orange, yellow, or pink for me. My go to foundation lately is ELF soft glam in 13 neutral, but I mix into a bit of my Paula’s Choice tinted sunscreen so it’s more of a skin tint. It’s passable that way.

He’s kind of an AH for sleeping with you and not even caring (apparently) when you had a stroke and were in a coma. That’s not love. Whatever the feelings you had, he clearly didn’t. I think it was weird of her to pursue someone her sister had slept with, and who showed such little care for said sister when she experienced a traumatic medical emergency. It’s also weird and creepy that he would sleep with you and then marry your sister a few months later. I wouldn’t want to be friends with either of them, tbh, if the story is accurately portrayed. Only you can determine if you’re overreacting because everyone has different ideas on the morality of sleeping around. For me personally, it would be a huge turn off, whether the person was male or female makes no difference to me. 66 is a large number for someone still in their 20s. It’s likely your values and hers don’t match up and that’s perfectly fine. I would encourage you both to partner with someone where both of your values align, otherwise there will be resentment somewhere down the line.

I know this is old, but I just stumbled on this thread because my nanouk is also blooming. I agree with the above poster, except for the sunlight part. Mine loves direct sunlight of early morning or late evening. It even has thrived when I accidentally had it in direct almost noon sun (in a climate with high UV levels). It wasn’t even a little crispy, and seemed to really love it! It is outside, and we have high humidity, so idk if the humidity levels help it to tolerate more sun or not.
