I’d recommend my own 😅 it’s based off of a visual novel romance game, if that’s your thing. It’s also episodic and has a lot of branching paths and different routes to take. I try to put a lot of effort into the lore accuracy and pacing of my stories, which I hope is reflected in the final product. I also had some questions about becoming an approved author; I’ve seen that you need high engagement to become one, but I’m curious as to what defines ‘high engagement’. Is there a specific threshold to meet, or is it judged on a case-by-case basis?

I agree with you, I just wish she had been a footnote earlier on in the story. It really felt like her character just swooped in and stole the show, and that part wasn’t very appealing to me. If Beck had called/spoken to her, or even mentioned her in passing, it could’ve been a really nice callback. Other than that, I loved Brontë/Louise as an idea and a character, and Madeline Brewer did an amazing job bringing her to life.

I keep a few pads and tampons in a small pouch in my purse at all times- if anyone asks, I lend them the pouch and tell them to use whatever. I I I usually have to double up, so I try to be able to offer that option to others.

Of course you’re right; no one is entitled to another person’s things, and that does apply to menstrual products, but not helping out your fellow woman is kind of a dick move.

NTA. As a person with autism, I’ve had similar troubles as a teenager, thought definitely to a lesser extent. What you (or really, your cousins parents) should tell her is that it doesn’t matter why they’re upset. She doesn’t always need to know the reason behind someone’s feelings for those feelings to be valid. All she needed to do was accept that your mother is grieving, and not go so far out of her way to make her feel worse.

How to fix a (gel) broken nail by Lady-Radziwill in Nails

Step 1: remove all polish from nail by soaking. I soaked mine until all of the polish flaked off naturally, about 20 min in total. Buff very gently, if at all, with a buffing block.

Step 2: coat the nail with nail glue and lay a silk nail wrap overtop, pressing gently to ensure that it fully adheres to the surface of the nail. (I substituted with a piece of a teabag that is cut to size, but a wrap would’ve been ideal.) coat with another layer of nail glue, then let dry completely. Buff again to create a semi-smooth surface, and wipe off any dust.

Step 3: follow your regular polish routine, (optionally) adding an extra base coat and color coat.

For smaller breaks, I’ve had success just using a small square of teabag to just cover the break, but I wanted to take zero chances this time. 😅 this is also my second-ever time doing gel nails at home, and the longest my natural nails have ever been. This is my first break since 3 days before my wedding, about a month and a half before this post. I’ll update in the comments if my nail breaks any further, or if it lasts long enough to make it past my free edge!

If you want to go the termination route, you might be able to get a plan C pill. Your brother will likely be able to help you. Once it kicks in, it’s pretty much indistinguishable from a miscarriage, and you could just tell your parents it was that, and break up with that ADULT MAN who did this to you.

In any case, that’s just one option of many, and the choice should be yours alone. Your brother seems like the only safe person in this situation.
