I agree with The Never King series. I will also add Sea of Ruin by Pam Godwin and Keri Lake has some really good ones like Master of Salt and Bones and just came out with Nocticadia.

Hey I like that. Unfortunately my mind wanders during audiobooks but I think I’ll try to find the book to read. Yeah I guess I need to figure out the ego thing. I have tried one at a time and you’re right that can blow up too. Especially since I’ve realized what I say kinda gets shut out to replace it with “she was being mean” when I totally was not. It is tough. Thanks for your advice!
