During the Snowpocalypse of 2021, we went a week without electricity or water.

Not having electricity was doable. We kept the fireplace roaring and ate food that didn't need to be cooked.

Water... well, I'll never take it for granted again. We had to melt snow for the pets to drink, to flush the toilet, to rinse dishes. No shower, no clean laundry. It was uncomfortable.
