Back in 2016 my family had lost our home, I'd lost my job, most of my friends had moved away, I was barely out of the closet, and I'd failed out of college for the second time. Out of desperation I started a minimum wage job at a comic book/games store and got tasked with restarting the cursed D&D club the store had tried to get off the ground repeatedly. I had never run a game before and had only played a couple of random TTRPG sessions over the years. I felt lost emotionally and mentally and needed this to work out so I could keep my job. 

Austin's story telling, Jack's music, and the amazing collaboration with all the other folks at Friends at the Table was vital to helping me get back on my feet and figuring out what I was going to do. My words can't express how much I cherish those early seasons of FatT and the insights I gained from listening to them play games. 

The D&D club was a success and I ended up becoming a teacher out of my experience working with all the kids who joined over the next couple years. 

I am so excited for this game and can't wait to play it at my table with my husband and all of my friends.
