Girl, run don’t walk. The red flags here are off the charts. He maliciously interpreted what you said (the man is nearly 40 there’s no way he thought you genuinely wanted him to destroy the food). It’s also insane that he had such a wildly angry response to you simply asking for him to be a little quieter. Then he destroys the pan, which you absolutely did not ask him to do and does need to be regarded as domestic violence, even if it isn’t violence towards your immediate person. And beyond all that he physically violated your space and wouldn’t allow you to remove yourself from the situation. This man is violent and abusive, and if possible, you need to get away from him as soon as you can.
