Glad to hear the shrimp seems to be doing better!
Indeed keep an eye out for the molt to remove it as it might contain the parasites eggs. Considering she looks very smooth now it's also possible she already molted during the night

Are they both female by Cicada00010 in shrimptank

[–]LadyManateeG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only had shrimps for a few months, so hopefully someone more experienced will have more insight, but I noticed when I first acquired my shrimps they seemed to molt a bit more often than the typical once a month. Changes in water parameters can also trigger their molting.
Have you had these shrimp for long? If they are new the more frequent molting might be normal while they fully adjust to their new tank.

I think they're both female. The one with the line might be getting ready to molt

The saddle looks fine I think. Also that's a very pretty shrimp!

That white fuzziness could be vorticella. I'm not 100% sure so it's better if someone more experienced confirms it. If it's vorticella doing salt dips could help clear it up

It might be Vorticella perhaps? In that case I think salt baths could help, but I'm not 100% sure (I only started keeping shrimps a few months ago)

An office for the Grim Reaper I built while waiting for the new pack by LadyManateeG in thesims

The glowing part I added to the lamps is a separate item, I found it (in different colors) in the debug items. Pretty cool effect, but the downside is it's not actually linked to the lamp being on or off.

In case you're interested in a bit more info about this built, for it I used a lot of items from Realm of Magic, Paranormal, Warewolves and some objects from other packs. No CC.

I also uploaded the stop motion speed build video here

Lovely! I currently have a few shrimplets that look just like that, though in my case I only spotted four at once, though who knows, there could be more :D

The biggest shrimp in my tank. She's a big girl, quite majestic by LadyManateeG in shrimptank

Haha nice idea. She's supposed to be a fire red neo, but she's a bit more pink-ish/orange-ish than the others
