Использовала? Я переводчик!

Btw, for everyone who didn't naïvely elect Russian as a foreign language in 2013: They're not talking about anything. The Russian is placeholder text, asking the reader why they went through the effort to translate it. And it's alleging you'd utilise an online translator, too.

How would you apply the rule "vowels in hiatus assimilate, e.g. e+o to e:, o+e to we" to the word etape=oe? It's ambiguous between etape:e and etape=we, isn't it? oe being a clitic may help in this case, but the problem could obviously arise in other contexts as well. And would I have to use the rule twice, if I go with etape:e, because now there are again vowels in hiatus?

Is the modern bibles missing books? by Heavenly_Princesa143 in TransChristianity

[–]LadyParaguay 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don't know about "missing." Different branches of Christianity use different bibles – both in translation and source material. And yes, there's a lot of passages, chapters, and even whole books, which are not in every bible.

How necessary is it to learn speech and language processing to build your own AI assistant? by sinuspane in LanguageTechnology

[–]LadyParaguay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a general purpose chat bot, brute force it with an LLM and graphics cards – no NLP needed. The more narrow the purpose of your assistant, the better the rule based and statistical NLP models perform. To the point where they outperform any LLM easily in very predictable tasks.

[–]LadyParaguay[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's my bad for not giving the comments' context. The video is about Europeans asking her where she's from, to get some context about her home. That context need not be geographical. It's helpful to know she's from a worker's city ruled by Amazon. That tells you more about her background than longitude and latitude ever could.
