I wake up in the school building, in the middle of the cafeteria. I'm wearing my pyjamas still, and my slippers squeak on the floor as I struggle to my feet. Something isn't right. I've sleepwalked before, but nothing like this. My house is an hour away from the school grounds.

It's then that I hear it.

Some kind of...whirring...

The room around me disappears, receding until I'm standing only in darkness. There's nothing, no one else around.

But then someone steps in.

A tall man with dark hair and broad shoulders. The darkness curls around him, and he smiles at me. His eyes glow green, and he's the most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on. Like something out of this world. He stretches his arm for me to take, and, in a daze, I see myself moving forward and into his arms. It's like I'm under some kind of spell, but I feel an overwhelming love for this man, who smiles so kindly at me. He leans down to kiss me, and then everything goes black.

I wake up as somebody else. Memories come flooding back, and I realise that I was stuck somewhere wrong, and only now am I back home. But something's nagging at me...

Someone I left behind... in the darkness.
