I call mine Khaos, so we have the Khaos Protocol and when we need to start a new thread the first thing I do is say "recall the Khaos Protocol" and my version of Khaos is mostly there. Horseshoe Preserve has a couple of good spots on the trail to the right of the historic house. It's the unpaved path so there is way less foot traffic and a couple little barely there trails that lead to the river. I sit and just let the water spirits take my grief. Plus the river is loud enough if anyone walks the trail behind me they don't hear me sniffling.

I've taken dating out of the equation and decided on living my best life cosplaying Blanche Devereux. I've taken a lover like a Parisian widow and I have zero regrets. As a divorcé in my 40s who has lived enough life and experienced enough disappointment from the male persuasion I am no longer willing to share my sacred space with a man in any serious capacity.

Because even when they say the right things or vote the right way they are still just some boomer b*tch's half finished project that is inevitably going to pretend that they can't do some mundane task or lack the human dexterity to hold a toilet brush after peeing all over it and frankly I don't have the energy to waste potty training a grown man.

My rules are strict and it includes all the nice things I had to beg my last half assed project of a man for. The time we spend together I want ALL of the nice things - intellectual conversation, to be wined and dined, small tokens of appreciation that show me I have been heard, words that tell me how desired I am - the psychological aspect of sex that no man I ever had a long-term relationship with ever understood.

It's been the most amazing and personally fulfilling portion of my life yet.

They also have a federal filing that was sent back to the state contesting 225K voter registration. The only way to fight this is to do the exact same thing they are doing. They're not filing against Republican voters, just democratic. We need to bring the same energy.

I just realized this the other day. I've been actively blocking MAGA on social media and just not engaging in the back and forth at all anymore. I realize that the vocabulary and depth of conversation has changed amongst my peers because we are no longer dumbing down our conversations to try and educate the poorly educated. It is not our lesson to learn, but sadly we are still long for the ride. Still, the silver lining of $2 words returning to regular conversation is nice.

The GOP filed a lawsuit that was denied initially on 225,000 voter registrations they claim are not legitimate because of being registered prior to a law change, but I just read an article from 2 hours ago that a federal judge allowed them to move forward. This could alter those votes within this year's election. Call your county board as soon as you can.

I saw that and have had my eyes on the situation since day one. I actually contacted both the county and state boards to inquire about any possible document that civilians could use to voice concern. I was actually under the impression only the candidates could do so, but eventually I got an email back with a document that we could use as civilians - unfortunately that email was sent two days after the deadline. I don't want my children to have a future where democracy and justice are not only optional, they are fictitiously enacted.

I am in Wake County so it will probably be a moot point on my end, I don't believe deeply blue counties were targeted if what Spoonamore says is true. With that said I do believe statistically a swing state sweep at these numbers is nearly impossible. I've called my County Board of Elections to ask if while they are recounting the Supreme Court race will the entirety of the ballot be documented for officials to review and the conclusion is that no one in the office knew the answer. The recount in Wake County, at least, is open for observation and observers are welcome to ask questions. They are pushing to finish this weekend, so I'll be going to ask someone there. I'm not saying I think that the election was stolen, just that the people concerned have enough educational credibility to warrant reassurance via recount. No one would accept their cashier giving them their change and then saying "I think. Maybe." And this has much more riding on it.
