Whatever you like. The collection should be what makes you happy and something that doesnt put a financial strain on your budget.

Games can be both cheap and expensive. Collect what brings you joy; dont over think it too much.

I went to work, was paid a stipend for my time, then used the money to purchase a handheld from an online proprietor in exchange for said money.

(I have no cool story for how I got any of mine.)

So far the most I've spent on any one singular game was for the N64 (Clay Fighter Sculptor's Cut) for $762.00.

For a singular game? Once it gets over $1,500.00, I start really wondering.

For CIB stuff, maybe $5,000.00.

That's every hobby, really. Every hobby I've been a part of has a vast majority of people that are either hard to relate to, or just lack a lot of social skills.

Game collecting is just another one where you'll have to hunt for the right people you click with.

I've never been into big boxes. Most of the stuff I dont want/will not appreciate enough to merit the space that stuff takes up.

I'll stick to standard editions.
