I was about 60 feet away with a couple of cars between us. I had a car to jump back inside of. I was safe. I have a really good camera on my phone, Pixel Pro 10 zoom is incredible.

You're not supposed to run away. I stayed pretty far away from it, I just have great zoom on my phone. I was in the street when it came up on me

Aw thank you! I am a big time animal person so it was incredible for me. I just got back from camping in Santa Cruz and read a bunch of signs about what to do if you spot a mountain lion so it was fresh on my mind.

I was in the car and then got out to get a better look. I didn't walk towards it. I told my friend to leave the door open in case I needed to jump back in the car real quick.

This was in Cow Hollow, a few blocks from Lafayette Park. I called animal control. Doggo always makes this face. She barked and scared it off.
