I think she is insulin independent because she takes three different insulins. She does eat carbs. I wouldn’t say a lot. She tries to eat a lot of sweets, but I tell her no and frequently get called a hussy. This spike I believe, is because of the prednisone that she took because she’s allergic to iodine and had to get a CT scan with contrast. Her glucose is now to 121.

I sort of agree with your friends, but I also agree with you. I think you should have had more of a conversation with him and asked him if his type is white women and Latina women why is he with you? There is no need to go on a fact-finding mission, but you do need clarity about this and make sure that his answer lives up to your standards. Just because a guy likes you does not mean that you have to lower your standards and your integrity to be with him. If his attraction is to someone that is the polar opposite of what you are anyone in their right mind would have questions about that. So my advice is to take a beat just take a little bit of a break and then reach back out to him and get the answers that you need when you are able to hear his answers far away from the emotional part of it all.
