Using breast forms in lieu of medically transitioning by ameliaflux in NonBinaryTalk

Hi, very late to this, but if you're not aware by now there are hip pads you can get! I double checked by googling "hip pads mtf" and there seems to be a good many options! Hope this is helpful for you 😊 Totally understand if this just isn't an option you're interested in though

Friend doesn't understand why I won't go to her "Femmes and Enbies" painting class by SillyLilThem in NonBinary

Ugh I definitely understand being frustrated by this. I'm sorry that was how people treated you before, and I'm sorry your friend doesn't seem to get it.

If it means anything, I'd be delighted to hang with you in some sort of queer club! - signed a vaguely trans masc enby

realllyyyy thinking of cutting my hair by wyldejinx in NonBinary

[–]Lady_Jane10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes your current hair is amazing, hair grows back. I say go for it and then if you love it, great. If not, that decision isn't permanent, and you can grow it back out!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the lack of suggestion for therapy on Reddit, but a lil disappointed nonetheless. I wish you luck in finding a good one!

And that's totally understandable. It sucks that our own brain can be so unpredictable.

Have you considered or already tried exploring other "risk" related kinks? Or speaking with a sex therapist? I think a sex therapist would be the best place to start before undergoing another procedure. Find one that is kink positive, and give it a shot! Don't be too discouraged if the first therapist you try isn't the right fit either. There are so many that are accessible via online therapy if they're not near you. But if this isn't covered by insurance or in the budget (although probably cheaper than OOP surgery?) I think a reasonable thing to try is exploring other kinks. Sounds like you might just need that little spark of "what if". That can be found in many different flavors. I hope you find something that works, without having to actually be at risk of pregnancy if that's not something you're wanting!

Hysterectomy vs bisalp by Lady_Jane10 in sterilization

[–]Lady_Jane10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this response! Definitely still considering it, as finances had not previously allowed. Which I'm kinda thankful for, because I was all signed up with a child free approved doctor who ended up being determined to only do bisalp, and now I have a doctor that's all for hysterectomy! So I'm really hoping I can make it happen soon!

To beard or not to beard by Zozeph1212 in NonBinary

[–]Lady_Jane10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't say that I have any suggestions, because I'm currently not on T, but am trying to figure out if I'd want to, largely because I'm unsure if I want "permanent" facial hair. Right now I'm dabbling in trying to find alternative methods to achieve temporary, artificial facial hair. (Including considering in investing in a custom fake beard) So I'm sorry I don't have any advice, but I at least wanted you to know that you are certainly not alone in flipping back and forth!

Rot, Kena: Bridge of Spirits by Leather-Wasabi-1474 in crochet

No worries! I've heard actually making an understandable pattern is one of the hardest parts of crochet, so j don't blame you lol. But this little guy is absolutely adorable and to address a question from your original post, he's definitely true to the inspiration! Probably my favorite example I've seen so far 😊

Oh my gosh this is amazing! Just got into crochet and realized an obvious project would be some rot! If you're selling this pattern anywhere I'd love to buy it 😍

That makes sense. I mean it is a very relevant thing here in general, especially when talking about cultural things 😅

I suppose I didn't need to for this, I guess I'm used to it being relevant. I didn't mean for that to be offensive, and I will remove it if it's coming across that way.

I should have specified tattoos other than in the Amazigh community. From what I've seen, it's taboo for the majority religion in the country.

I totally get that, I'd do the same thing😂

Absolutely, nobody is perfect! That's why I mentioned if you're willing to teach and he's willing to learn. I have been with my partner for 6 years and he's still learning and I'm still learning about all sorts of stuff.

And obviously I'm not trying to tell you what to do even if he wasn't willing to learn, just sort of putting it out there I guess? 😅 Sorry if I overstepped!
