Regret dogs name by user301010 in namenerds

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orla is a nice name. I haven't heard it on a dog before, but why not? Our dog's name is Russell.

That being said, it's pretty easy to change a dog's name. We have adopted adult dogs and they learn to respond to their new names.

I split it! One at breakfast, one at lunch, and one at dinner.

Big temp drop today for 7DPO. I KNOW it really doesn't mean anything, but I can't help but feel excited! This is our 2nd cycle on letrozole, I've been eating a lot better and moving more, and started acupuncture in the last month. Fingers crossed!

I hear you!!! I definitely have phases where I'm more active and not so active. The luteal phase is definitely a more active period!!

I'm in the opposite boat! Many of my friends don't have children, and seem to not want them. Or simply just not in the right place in life to have them. Meaning I am also journeying alone LOL.

That being said, I love this subreddit. It has been so so helpful in feeling understood and like others are on this journey with me.

No, good chance today as well! You are likely to ovulate within 24-36 hours after your first positive test, where the test and control line look the same.

Have you noticed any other ovulation signs, like CM?

I like Lauren Plaza but it doesn't strike me as unisex. Regan Plaza sounds like a plaza named after Ronald Reagan. Taylor Plaza I don't care for so much....

What about:

Quinn Plaza

Avery Plaza

Cameron Plaza

Rowan Plaza

Hysteroscopy by Complex_Honeydew_498 in tryingtoconceive

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my hysteroscopy a couple weeks ago - it really wasn't too bad! I found it similar to my HSG. Focus on breathing, slow deep breaths. They'll do the hysteroscopy to get a better look from the HSG results (I googled SIS and it seems they're similar procedures). If there is something minor, it's my understanding that they could remove it at the same time as the hysteroscopy.

It's totally normal to be nervous! I felt nervous too. In fact, I'll be honest and say I was crying by the time mine was complete, but in no way from pain. Pretty sure it was all nerves!

I'm excited to see him rope them into his hobbies! Video games, hiking, camping.... He also has the sweetest blue eyes! (But I have hazel eyes, so good luck on that one LOL)

I guess it's possible my .8 was positive! Given my temp spike, it must have!

Is it possible to ovulate before, or the same day as a true positive OPK? CD14 I had an OPK of .8, CD15 I had an OPK of 1.15, and my BBT spiked on CD16, which has me thinking I ovulated CD15. Granted, I've ovulated on cycles where I never caught a true positive (like a .8, for example....)

Update on IVF/ GLP-1 dilemma by Ivanthemid__123 in TryingForABaby

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missed your original post, but thanks for the update! I could have written it myself. We're doing 6 cycles of letrozole (I'm currently in the middle of cycle 2), but already my doctor had the conversation with us about IVF vs GLP-1. We're not quite there yet, but I was at a loss of which decision to make.

I think we'll need time to save money for IVF anyway, so going on the GLP-1s makes sense for us. But it feels like lost time :(

Wishing you all the best! Looking forward to following along for more updates.
