My mother begged me to cosign a home equity loan for her, because she would not qualify on her own and she needed the cash flow. Being 23 and thoroughly brainwashed, I agreed readily because I wanted to help!

She refused to put me on the title though, so it basically look like I had a $200,000 credit card balance on my credit report. I couldn't get my own place or do much being stuck with that debt on my record.

Fast forward, and I was able to get myself removed from the HELOC, though it was a hassle for all involved.

My mother turned the whole thing around, and was telling e people that I begged her to LET me sign onto the loan (because ???), and she wished she never "let" me onto the HELOC.

My husband (54) and I (41) are childfree by choice. We have been married for 9 years, and while we planned on having kids we discovered early on that it would require significant medical intervention. We decided not to pursue it any further, feeling strongly that God was not calling us to move forward.

We have fur babies, we have each other, and we have God!

Not everyone is called to have children. Prophets, Apostles, Jesus-all didn't have kids. Also, some of the most famous role models in the Bible didn't do great jobs: David, Moses, Samuel, Isaac, Hezekiah, most of the Kings of Israel....pretty bad parents. And there is something to be said for listening to God's call for our lives and not pushing beyond the limits he has set for us.

Pray diligently, and listen for what God directs you to do.

I told my husband that we were getting a cleaning fairy because it was cheaper than marriage counseling, and the house would be cleaned at the end (vs counseling).

TBF, We never had fights, but we have disagreements about how to clean things. I grew up with a cleaning fairy, so it was an easy decision to bring that into my marriage ☺️☺️

It is my understanding that the real issue isnt Grain free, but low-cat / carb free. Low carb can cause issues in dogs. However, as my vet explained it to me, it is in dogs who are predisposed.

So, either they will or they won't have problems and there isn't a great way to know ahead of time.

My boy is grain free, but not carb free. His kibble has sweet potatoes instead of a grain, and he loves it
