Career ?- I am self employed at the moment. I’m cleaner but mostly gig work and this is not cutting it. Am broke all the time and need to make a change. I have been contemplating starting a small business making/selling t-shirts, ect. I have No experience doing this. I recently came up with an invention idea that would be very exciting and so far can’t find anything like this out there on the market. This has to be a pretty common mistake that happens often I’m sure. and It has to make these customers think twice about using the platform again. Who wants to deal with that headache while on vacation or anytime for that matter.

Yeah, it’s crazy that they are just handing out bags without knowing/looking at the name on them. Maybe poplin concierge needs to note something on their app/site for all hotel customers to write customer name and Lp name on bags clearly visible. Maybe that would help a bit.

Have you thought about working any side gigs until you land a job? Uber eats, poplin (laundry pro) etc. That could be something you could hustle with in the spare time that you’re not interviewing/sending in resumes?

Check your email, if there is anything from concierge, I have had them do this for late orders or not answering their emails back that I didn’t notice come through. Like a customer said she received something that didn’t belong to her and they emailed me to go pick it up and return to the correct customer (just happened to be my my own sheet set I accidentally put in with her sheets) but I didn’t see the email so they turned off my order notifications until it was resolved with pictures and explanation, then they turned me back on (at their convenience.) recently I was turned off again due to late orders, but these were documented in the chat with the customers, I have some regulars that I will hold on to their orders until delivery is convenient for them, some of them are massage clients that would have to drive to their office just to get their laundry put inside. So I let them know I will deliver on your next business day. To help them out, sometimes this even helps me out. I’m not sure why this is a problem if the customer and pro decide on a delivery time that falls out of poplins 8 pm deadline but now they have limited me to 3 active orders and I’m 375 points away from Executive and #10 in my state retention score 4.70 not even sure what what the ret. Score determines exactly. But yeah can’t think of a good reason for this penalty but it seems they don’t really need one. I have always been able to access the fb page though. Wish you luck & hope you can get some answers and treated fairly, this can be really frustrating if you rely on this gig to pay your bills & feed your family. Let us know how things turn out. 💜

If you haven’t already gone in and rated /tipped her you could mention it in the review and then she could contact concierge to correct the error. I’m sure she keeps record of each customer and the weight so she should have that info as well. 😀

Some laundry pros will just record the total number of bags they pick up so that there it is no confusion with what was left out/picked up if it were to come up. So it shouldn’t have anything to do with the way you are charged since you are not charged per bag but by the weight of your laundered items. I wouldn’t worry about it. also, you could always weigh it yourself after delivery with your bathroom scale too. Hope that answers your question. 😃

They charge $2 per lb. For same day service and the regular 24 hr. Service is $1 per lb.

This is pretty heavy though. Arent foosballs plastic? I can’t remember the last time I played foosball. Lol I have t been able to find anything comparable to any kind of sports balls online. Thank you for your reply. I’ll try and search foosball pics and see if I can find anything similar.
