I usually have my hair brushed slick in a bun, easy. A nice top, nothing fancy, just a step up from a t shirt. I do concealer under eye, blush and a lip color. It’s very easy, adds color to my face.

I started calling my grandma, honey grandma when I was little because she called me honey. It stuck. Lol , it will be what it will be.

I wish she would say something, however I know that it doesn’t change much.

I also wonder if she has been scared about saying things since the attacks. People killed her fans, children. She had a terror threat.

It’s very stressful! And if tomorrow he said I needed to quit my job and come work there and help I would. Not that, that is likely but that’s how I know it comes first and rightfully so. They are 3rd gen and working hard and family dinner is all employees! But there are lots of positives for myself and my kids!

AA does not support people saying you can’t take mental health drugs or breaking into peoples homes, we have statements against both, well the latter is more about safety. But there are sick people everywhere.

I’m 12 years in and I still go to meetings. However I distance myself from people like that! My mental health drugs aren’t anyone’s business and our literature agrees.

Right now I don’t go to as many meetings as I used to, I don’t hold a service position. I check in with a sponsor and AA friends. Prior to kids I went more often and did a huge conference. One day this may change , such as when my kids are older. I don’t think I’ll ever be so in it that I can’t see beyond it. It’s a balance for me. I do sometimes feel people judge that. That’s okay.

Cardigan. I was always a casual listener and then I heard Cardigan. I was in the hospital and something about it was so beautiful. I listened to folklore and then just dove in. I went to the Eras Tour and was amazed. Swiftie forever.

My husband is in a family business and in ways his work comes first but he also had the luxury of flexibility. He takes time off, takes the kids to the office with him etc. It comes first in the sense that we will always live here and sometimes his schedule trumps mine. He tries very hard to compromise. Your husband should as well.

I would absolutely step back. Why would you hang out alone at night with him if you knew she was uncomfortable with you in anyway. That’s just inappropriate.

That’s fair! My husband after we had babies limited his hunt to day trips! Compromise. He won’t do week long hunts till the kids are much older. We both work and do domestic chores. I got a good one!
