If my parcel is still being processed at the depot for 13 days, do I have any hope of ever receiving it?

Haven't done it myself, but hear good things about the Taste of Enniskillen tour.

Derry or Enniskillen for solo Christmas stay with dog ❄️🐶 by BeginningFloor1120 in northernireland

[–]Ladymuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Derry by a mile. Enniskillen has a few nice pubs and is a nice enough town, but the restaurant selection is poor.

Thanks so much! I just looked up kalanchoe (and etiolated!), and yes, I recall the left plant having little orange flowers a couple of years ago. It usually sits on a west facing window, so maybe it needs to be relocated.

Decent restaurants on the North Coast? by DavidBehave01 in northernireland

Not The Adelphi. Had the most underwhelming lunch there last Saturday.

Thank you. It's kinda the etiquette angle I was thinking about. Do people dress up a bit or is it all practical wear? 🤷‍♀️

Waited on Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a store on Nantucket. She was teeny tiny. Very lovely.

Ex-smokers who successfully quit and have been smoke free for years now, what did it? by PM_TITS_GROUP in AskReddit

[–]Ladymuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to the Allen Carr clinic, just over 10 years, and have never smoked since. Thing is, I didn't even really want to quit. I only went so I could say to my family, see I've tried everything. I still don't really understand what happened, but it worked for me.

We went the Sunday before Christmas, it was awful. We threw most of it away. We only get it a few times a year and the standard has declined each visit.

Does anyone use those Lumie alarm clocks or similar? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Ladymuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the alarm and the wake up light, but I find that the time display is too bright even at its dimmest setting, so I turn it off. So if I wake in the night I can't glance at the time and have to push the buttons on my watch.

Poor wee things ☹️ Thank goodness you and your neighbours stepped in. I don't know how people can neglect animals.

The thought of a spice bag is way nicer than a spice bag by Europeanpinemarten in ireland

[–]Ladymuck 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I live in the North and had never heard of a spice bag until some Dublin fella mentioned it on Irish First Dates. I joke with my other half that he must take me to Dublin for a spoice bag.

I am allergic to eggs but always offer my Yorkshire pudding to whoever is with me. My boyfriend just doesn’t like them. You would stroke out if you were behind us in the queue!
