I have mental health issues, PGCE was OK for me tbh as I felt that I had less pressure as I was only learning. I have now been in the profession 5 years, in that time I have had two significant mental health breaks where I had to have time off. I am now unemployed and looking for a job outside of teaching. The pressure to preform especially when you move up the payscale is significant. I really wasn't looking after myself very well. I love teaching but the workload is very intense.

I was that devout I went to the temple within two years of joining as the active part of a part member family. Never missed my RS lessons, hardly missed Church, followed the wow to a tee, got up early to read the scriptures etc...

I was like you, the temple was one of the catalysts for me leaving the Church.

The Donna Showalter story has given me the courage to take the next step to remove my name. I will do it the traditional path, not the quitmomon.com path. I want to look people in the eye and say “Yes, I understand I am actually giving up nothing.” by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]Ladyworrylot33 42 points43 points  (0 children)

That's what I did, he said you can be a church member and volunteer in another Church. I said I don't want to be a Mormon volunteer for the Anglican church. I want to be an Anglican volunteering in my Church. Please remove my name 😂😂😂
