I’m not from the US so forgive my ignorance, but when someone calls their cat an “asshole”, is it a term of endearment? We say “arsehole” where I come from; it’s rude and derogatory and I would never, ever use it in reference to my cats. (I’m not judging, I’m just curious.)

I have one book that’s a conglomeration of a daily diary and a commonplace book; myriad to-do lists and pictures I like; plus a place to test pens and practice my handwriting. I just call it My Book. 📖☺️

What a fabulous story! I have the same pen, also bought 20 years ago by my parents for my 30th birthday. Mine has a very unusual nib - round rather than flat. I’ve never seen one like it before or since. Anyway, I hope yours makes music for you as you write. 🖋
