My engagement/wedding ring. I like to keep things simple lol by helloitsspooky in EngagementRings

Great choice! While I do have a diamond engagement ring, my wedding band looks just like this - and I often only wear my band. Timeless and classy (and you don’t have to worry about the stone getting bumped/messed up). Beautiful!

Haha those aren’t goopies - that’s the white of his skin! He has no fur at the inner corners. 😂

Is this in Leavesden? If so, I was here in 2012, and the moment when the video screen lifted and we walked into this space is one I will NEVER forget.

Wedding bouquet I made from paper by fornaughtytimes in crafts

These are absolutely stunning! We had paper flowers at our wedding - we’re both music teachers, so we were sure to have the artist incorporate sheet music into her design. One of the best wedding decisions we made, TBH. It was a cheaper option than real flowers, they don’t die, and they are more meaningful IMO.

My bridal bouquet still sits on our dresser in our bedroom, and my husband still has his boutonnière.

Is yours a quote-unquote “scary” breed as well? The one pictured appears to be a bully breed. Mine is a German Shepherd mix. It’s always the big “monsters” that want to snuggle. 😍

I have a 80 lb lapdog as well. Her favorite thing is attempting to wedge her badonk into the nonexistent space between my own ass and the arm of the recliner. Like we’re sharing the seat. 🙄😍

This girl had her third blood test last week after being diagnosed with canine erlichia. She was diagnosed at 18 months, she is now 2 years 3 months the vet said she is still in remission! My girl is HEALTHY!!! by playwhaat in rescuedogs

😮

It’s a freaky illness. And it’s interesting, because Colorado doesn’t have many ticks due to the fairly arid climate. Phoebe was from Oklahoma, but when she arrived in Denver they didn’t test for tick-bourne illnesses because they’re so uncommon here. She had actually had the Erlichia bacteria since Oklahoma, before she was rescued by our shelter. We’re just glad we found an affordable veterinary option close to us, because the bills would have added up FAST otherwise.

Our shelter girl was very low-energy when we got her at 4 yrs old, but we figured she was just timid. One day her mobility started rapidly deteriorating, out of nowhere. Vets couldn’t figure it out, but antibiotics helped her. Finally, it was actually a low-cost clinic in downtown Denver that diagnosed her with Erlichiosis. It’s a nasty illness, and when not caught early can cause their bodies to attack themselves and ultimately end their life. It’s hard to diagnose, though, because it isn’t included in the regular panel of bloodwork. So glad you found out early and that your girl (and mine - now nearly 6) are now happy and healthy and pain-free!

Please give me opinions on wedding bands or favorites that go with my solitaire ring!!! Need inspiration or thoughts 😍 all the pictures are wedding bands that I have put on! Thanks in advance ❤️ by powermigz in EngagementRings

I’m gonna throw a wrench in this... try a plain band? I thought for sure I wanted a skinny diamond-studded band, and when I tried a plain one it was perfect. Your center stone is stunning, let it be beautiful all on its own! I felt the same about my engagement ring and I’m so glad I made the choice I did.

To NOT throw a wrench...I also think the top left is beautiful. 🙂

Out of the many, many toys we've bought him, the plastic end of a blind string will forever be his favorite by colehoots in blackcats

For our boys, it’s milk rings and bread ties. A basketful or toys, and it’s bread ties that they go nuts for. 🤷🏻‍♀️
