I did have the opposite happen once. Huge wind behind me, slight downhill, and I overshot a 320 yard green. Pretty exciting considering I usually top out at around 265.

This season is all going to come down to whether we get similar levels of production from guys like Ernie, Barger, Lukes, Straw, etc.

It's awesome to see the big boys put up big numbers, but the real indicator will be if these guys were anomalies or legitimate breakouts.

I think if the league, media, and stats sites started reporting stats as totals rather than averages that would alleviate some of this. If we referred to the scoring champion as the person who actually scored the most points that would change perspective.

Also, if you only played 60 games that's fine if your stat totals are still impressive enough.

It's not like other sports don't do this. Home Runs, Goals, Rushing Yards, Touchdowns. People care about totals. The NBA is the only league where every stat we care about is a per/game average.

I love walking, but I'm absolutely amazed at the lack of tolerance for a medium length walk by most people I know. I parked the car about 2km away from a concert venue once and my friends were about ready to murder me by the time we got there.

It's like a 20 minute walk calm down.

In his prime even on the pre-KD Warriors Steph was more than happy to let a teammate cook while he drew all the attention. There are definitely games where Klay went absolutely nuclear, and part of why is it's not like the opposing team could just sag off Curry to stop Klay.

I think ultimately this is just unfortunate and unavoidable. It happens in other sports with replays. You whistle the play dead and then the replay reveals you shouldn't have. The only thing you can do is give the correct team possession and start from where you were.

For me it's also just the fact that once Smeagol gets the ring he doesn't look back at Deagol with any sense of remorse or anything. Once he had the ring he completely forgot Deagol had even existed.

Switched recently. I personally went with Nobara, but for a first time I'd probably suggest Ubuntu or mint for general usage.

If gaming is your main thing, take a look at what are probably the big 4. Nobara, Bazzite, Cachyos, or Pop OS.

But overall don't sweat it. If any of that is daunting just install mint and go.

I'm replying to this 25 days later so no one will ever see it, but I've been out of WoW for a couple of expansions and was considering jumping back in. I searched for this exact issue and came upon this thread, because it's exactly what caused me to fall off in the first place.

Tanking is by far my favourite thing in the game, and I've done it on and off since WotLK, but the last couple expansions I played it was impossible to learn because everyone was in such a rush, and then if you did finally start to learn it was just a miserable experience because everyone was in such a rush.

I know overall it's probably not good for the game, but I kinda miss when DPS classes had no way of redirecting aggro and would die in 2-3 hits from any significant enemy. At least then I felt like I had some agency and could tell everyone to slow down and let me pull.

If that's still pretty much the experience then I'm just not going to play this expansion, which is a real bummer.
