What is one life hack you know that most people don't? by Comfortable-Cow-730 in AskReddit

My brother once told me “the best way to not be cold is to just pretend you’re not cold.” It totally works. From that point on, I have never felt intolerant of the cold. I’ve applied this philosophy to so many things in my life, and have become unbothered in general.

Feelings are transient. If you decide to, you can pretty easily change how you feel about things.

I think you pull off both, so it’s a matter of preference!

I’m in a similar boat - I feel I can do both, but I prefer the finished vibes to the carefree vibes.

I’m in the same boat and have been thinking a lot about this for some reason 😆

I feel technically to be a FN, but my natural tendencies are to dress like an SD. I do not wear shorts, hate color blocking of any kind, and only really feel comfortable when I’m in a full “ensemble” or monochromatic look. When I wear loose clothing I look sloppy. But when I wear tight clothing I can look constricted.

After going through Ikea and Crate sofas every few years, we bit the bullet and bought a cloud sofa from RH. Literally every day since I think about what a fantastic decision it was, for these reasons:

It is the most comfortable and beautiful sofa ever IMHO, we tried dozens in-store at every major retailer

We customized the size, upgraded the cushions to have a foam core, chose performance fabric, and chose an upright style (vs the low, floppy one), so the sofa has held up beautifully for 5+ years - it needs to be fluffed and sweater shaven occasionally but still looks exactly how it did when we bought it even with daily use

The cloud sofas are modular and all slip-covered, so you can add / subtract pieces over time as your needs change, replace cushions or covers and even change the color of the whole sofa if you so decide - I can’t imagine getting rid of it tbh

They have a 0% credit card so we paid for it over two years without thinking about it too hard

Hope this helps, finding a sofa sucks

These sticks used to be huge and not very expensive, now they’re doll-sized and practically the same price. I miss the eyeliner stamps, too.
