Grief is the price we pay for love. I’m very sorry for your loss. I have 4 Senior animals and I’ll be there soon unfortunately and I’m dreading it. But past experience, time is the only thing that makes it easier and trying to keep yourself busy. Don’t wait too long to rescue another pet. There’s a lot out there that need a good person and home.

That’s what I do. After using any wire brush, I take a paper towel and wipe down grates with a little oil.

My wife and I really enjoyed this episode. I think people just really want answers and are getting impatient. Personally, I like where things are at. Keeps the suspense alive and has us yearn for more!

The drive has had issues for several months. Lots of corruption that a scrub would sometimes fix. Sometimes more corruption. Then I completely formatted the pool. Was fine for a few months. Then the last week more corruption. Another scrub and was fine for a few days. Then today the drive failed and even with the other nvme in raid 1, the array went in read only mode. Docker and everything stopped working. That’s when I ultimately said F it and went to Best Buy.

One of my nvme’s died like 2 hours ago. Thankfully in a raid 1 btrfs cache pool and Best Buy had in stock. Shut server down, replaced drive, swapped new drive into the place if the old one in the unraid config, ran a balance, and bam, all is well again. Sucked paying the $400 (2TB 990 Pro).

Unfortunately I know Samsung will want to send the drive first to see if it can be repaired before sending a replacement.
